At the southeast end of Fan Jing Mountains and the boundary of Miao Ling Mountains, there is an ancient town of Yuping in eastern Guizhou. Yuping is named after Yuping Mountain, which is located on the north bank of Yanghe River in the north of the county. The mountain is covered with pine trees and bamboo. Seen from a distance, this thin and wide mountain peak looks like a huge screen carved with jade by skilled craftsmen, so it is called Yuping Peak. This ancient town is named Yuping Town because of its name. Yuping, also known as the gateway to eastern Guizhou, was lucky enough to attend a meeting in Yuping and finally realized my long-cherished wish.

Vehicles drove into Yuping County when the mountains were full of ink, and stayed at Lin Yuan Hotel in the city. It's quiet. It's quiet. Open the window, a cool breeze blows gently, and the faint fragrance in the air in early spring blows away fatigue, which makes people feel very comfortable.

Yuping is known as the hometown of flutes in China, and flutes have become the name card and pronoun of Yuping. Being able to see the mysterious place that often haunts me in my dreams makes me excited in bed. I didn't settle down until night fell.

The next afternoon, the sky was clear and I sat on the bus. Although I know exactly where I want to go, it deeply attracts me, confuses me and makes my mood ripple.

Yuping Flute Factory is one of the four designated manufacturers of national musical instruments in China. What will it be like?

An ancient building stands in front of everyone. If you don't look carefully at the banner in front of the door, there are some obscure words on it. Who will believe that it is the origin of the world-famous flute?

There are many dizzying flutes in the exhibition hall.

The origin of the world-famous Yuping flute is unknown in historical records. In the twenty-second year of Qing and Qianlong (1757), Yuping county annals: a biography of Zheng's strange family was compiled. He was an ordinary person with clear rhymes, and many good people said it. The word "different" casts a mysterious color on the origin of Yuping flute. It can be seen that although there are all kinds of folklore about the time when Yuping began to make flutes, most scholars tend to start making flutes about 400 years ago in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, which was created by Zheng.

Legend has it that there is a man named Zheng in Yuping. On a driving trip, he met a Taoist who claimed to be a deerskin fairy. The two hit it off at first sight, shared similar interests and became bosom friends. Taoist priests often wander in the mountains, whispering and complaining about their dissatisfaction with the current dynasty. One day, he picked a bamboo from the mountain and made it into a flute to play. He only heard the melodious flute, which made people cry. Very beautiful. The melodious flute swept the morning sky from the top of the Drum Tower to the Phoenix Mountain, attracting hundreds of birds to sing. More and more listeners gathered under the Drum Tower. They closed their eyes and listened attentively. Soon, the Taoist priest wanted to travel far away, so he taught the skill of making flutes to this friend named Zheng. Since then, the Zheng family began to manufacture and sell flutes. From then on, Xiao Yuping was habitually called Xiao Shen by the world.

Yuping flute is very particular about material selection and production. It is made of a local water bamboo, which grows near Yinshan River and seldom gets sunlight. This kind of bamboo is long and thick, and its roots are basically the same, only the thickness of one's thumb. The time for cutting bamboo is very particular, usually two months after beginning of winter. At this time, because bamboo contains less water and sugar, the made flute is not easy to crack and mildew. The production requirements are more stringent, and there are dozens of processes from bamboo cutting to production. Finally, poems and paintings are carved on the surface of the flute. The tube body is bronzed and engraved with various patterns or poems. Among the flutes, the dragon and phoenix flute is the most popular. This is a kind of male and female flute. Men are slightly thicker and women are slightly thinner. Play it, subtle and elegant. Playing with men and women, just like singing with couples, is full of fun, so it is also called fairy flute.

It has enjoyed a high reputation for hundreds of years and is a tribute of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In particular, 19 13 won the silver award at the London International Arts and Crafts Exhibition. 19 15 participated in the Panama Pacific World Expo held in San Francisco, USA, and won the gold medal together with the national wine Maotai. It is the first musical instrument in China that enjoys a high reputation in the world. Therefore, the Jade Emperor Xiaoping enjoys a world-renowned reputation and sells well in Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe and America and other countries and regions. At that time, there were more than 30 flute workshops in this marginal town. The hometown of the flute has made Yuping famous, and it is also called the Three Treasures of Guizhou with Guizhou Moutai and Dafang Lacquerware.

This is the first time I have seen it at close range, and I can't help but feel ups and downs and my thoughts are flying.

It's old! From the trace of the knife carving, we can see the depth of the years, which makes me extremely revered. It has experienced thousands of years of vicissitudes, and now it lies there quietly for the world to read and think about.

This is an ordinary bamboo, beautifully carved. It's also true that everyone is holding Xiao Di, touching it affectionately and playing with their heads tilted.

At this time, the sound of bamboo flute came, which was a little sad and quiet. The charming sound of this leisurely flight immediately attracted people to follow the sound.

An actor in the factory improvised for the guests from afar. I saw him holding a delicate bamboo flute in his hand, folding his eyebrows and bowing his head, blowing gently and getting carried away. His head swayed gently with the rhythm. The theme song "Shake Your Eyebrows" of A Dream of Red Mansions blew him alive. The deep and bitter flute sound and beautiful sadness conquered all the people at the scene, making people savor the ancient and sad love.

At this point, people's distractions have been eliminated and the whole world is quiet. Only his flute is still playing, like crying, echoing over Yuping.

I was intoxicated and felt the magic of Xiao Di, but I was awakened by my companion and dragged myself to the next stop.

My regret is that I didn't see the production process of Xiao Di.

Besides flutes, there are beautiful scenery. Yuping, one of the five Dong autonomous counties in China, is rich in folk customs, mainly including the residential buildings, living environment, customs and habits of the Dong people in the north, and the folk songs of the Dong people in Jiangxi and Macao.

We went to Yejiping Village, Pingxi Town, located in the suburbs. When people were still in the car, they saw villagers in festive costumes standing on both sides of the street in the distance. They beat gongs and drums to give us a warm welcome.

Village layout, residential buildings and environment all have certain characteristics. I saw a small farmhouse between Shan Ye, showing the breath of a new countryside. There is a distance between households, not far apart. They are arranged according to the hillside topography. The house is surrounded by green trees and has a beautiful environment. The building is made of wood structure, small blue tiles, overhead building, outer ring corridor, two-story and three-story overhead building and compound dam. Every household or two households should build a welcome door, which is called the eight-character color door locally.

Walking into the village along the clean road, all kinds of flowers and trees are planted along the cement roadside and the village road. For a long time, countless Dong people have cooked at sunrise and returned at sunset to prepare chicken and rice for me.

On the playground of Yejiping Village Primary School, I experienced the hospitality of the Dong people. The well-dressed Dong family presented the guests with cups of wine, and the song of persuasion kept lingering in their ears. Every greeting is heart to heart. This wine contains Dong Jia's deep affection and supreme etiquette for the guests. In this very rich atmosphere, even if I don't drink, I can't help but open my heart and body to drink.

On the field, women twist their waists, men walk with vigorous steps, dance yangko, and Sang Song and flute play. The actors are intoxicated with this high-pitched passion, and the performances show the charm of local original ecological culture everywhere. The audience was fascinated and the whole scene was boiling.

At the foot of Fengfei Mountain in Yejiping, there is a bridge called Fengfei Bridge, also called Yufeng Bridge and Huahua Bridge. It is 90 meters long, 3. 1 meter wide and 8.6 meters high. Across the Pheasant River, there is a high arch. There are two long corridors and three pavilions on the bridge, which provide shelter for pedestrians. There are dazzling painted decorations on the bridge, which are simple and elegant and rich in architectural characteristics of the Dong nationality in the north. Its beautiful surrounding environment, beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery are excellent places for people to relax and entertain.

Yuping is not a lively place. There are few pedestrians in the street, and there is no noise or whistle. A little more quiet and charming. This is a beautiful town, surrounded by green mountains and green waters, with many places of interest and beautiful scenery. It has been named as the hometown of flute in China, the hometown of camellia in China, the hometown of northeast culture and art, and Wuyang River National Scenic Area.

The winding Wuyang River, the quaint Yinshan Academy, the towering cliffs, the quaint and elegant bell and drum towers, and the rows of shops, this mountain, this water and this building interweave the jade screen into a natural and harmonious picture. (Text/Wang Xiaosong)
