Itinerary

First Day

If you arrive in Chengdu at 12 noon, you can take the airport directly after exiting Chengdu Airport The bus goes to the center of Chengdu; the bus stops near the Minshan Hotel, which is very close to the Chengdu Tourism Distribution Center (very close to the bus station), and the starting price is a taxi. It is recommended to find a business hotel or youth hostel near this bus station. The accommodation is relatively good;

City attractions: Jinli, Wuhou Temple, Qingyang Palace, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Kuanzhai Alley; from Jinli to Qingyang Palace and Du Fu Thatched Cottage, you can take bus No. 82, passing by along the way ; Jinli is right next to Wuhou Temple. It is mainly antique buildings. On both sides there are some local Sichuan snacks and gadgets such as clay figurines and candy figures. Du Fu Thatched Cottage is worth a visit. It is a place that integrates a park and Tang Dynasty architecture. Kuanzhai Alley is similar in style to Jinli, but it has more bars and is very unique. Friends who like temples can go to two places: Wenshu Monastery and Zhaojue Temple. Zhaojue Temple is located at the urban-rural fringe, but it is much larger than Wenshu Monastery.

In the evening, you can go to Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street and Zongfu Road, which are the most prosperous streets in Chengdu; (Note, you can sit on a chair in the middle of Chunxi Road to see the beautiful girls in Chengdu, their skin and facial features Jujia, they are really eye-catching and cute! )

The next day, we took the bus to Xinnanmen Bus Station (Chengdu Tourism Distribution Center). Catch the bus to Leshan. Remember the ticket price is tens of yuan, no more than 50. It takes almost 2 hours to reach Xiaobazi Passenger Transport Center in Leshan. There is bus No. 13 at Xiaobazi Passenger Transport Center to Leshan Giant Buddha. But when I went there, I was taken to the Oriental Buddha Capital by a fake Route 13. Please be careful about this. Because no one sells tickets for the authentic No. 13 bus. 1 yuan coin. Someone is selling maps on the fake Route 13. There is also a girl who looks like a tour guide to let everyone get on the bus. Just take a bus and sit at the gate of Dafoshan. Tickets for Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area: 90 yuan (including Leshan Giant Buddha, Wuyou Temple, and Mahao Cliff Tomb). The Big Buddha is worth seeing. Personally I don’t think it’s necessary to take a boat trip. If you need it, you can visit it yourself. The Buddha is very majestic. It doesn’t matter whether you see Wuyou Temple or not. You can admire Su Dongpo's garden and forest of steles inside the Giant Buddha.

You can finish browsing around 3 p.m. Then take bus No. 13 back to Xiaobazi Passenger Transport Center. It is best to return to Xiaobazi before 4:30, so that you can catch the last bus to Mount Emei and prepare for visiting Mount Emei the next day.

Just go to Baoguo Temple in Mount Emei. I don't remember the ticket price, it was about a few dozen yuan. When you get off the Emeishan Hotel, there is a small local hotel next to it. I live there. It feels good. A single room costs 80 yuan a night (I heard it costs more than 100 yuan now). Very affordable. And it is convenient to take the bus early the next morning.

The third day

Early in the morning, I took a bus from the bus station of Emeishan Hotel to Leidongping in Emeishan, which took almost two hours. It's all mountainous. It is recommended not to take the cable car when going to Leidongping. It is better to climb the mountain to the Golden Summit. Take the cable car down the mountain. In this way, you can slowly experience the fun of mountain climbing. You can see monkeys in Emei while climbing the mountain.

I took the cable car up and went down the mountain by myself, but going down the mountain had a greater impact on my calves and knees, which made me very sore the next day. Climbing is much better. Of course, you can also take the cable car up and down, which would not be much fun. It takes almost 2 hours to climb up the mountain. It took me an hour and a half to go down the mountain. Nice view. Then go to the Golden Summit and look at the Buddha statue of "Samantabhadra of the Ten Directions", the Golden Palace, the Silver Palace, and the sea of ??clouds. The sunrise is relatively difficult to see. Generally, in July and August, you can see the sunrise by going up the mountain early. Since the altitude is high and it is cold, it is best to bring one or two thick layers of clothing. Of course there are also rentals available locally. Take the cable car down the mountain around 11 o'clock and take the bus to Wannian Temple Station. Have lunch. To Shangwannian Temple, first take the cable car. This section of the cable car has a long distance and good scenery.

There are Emei monkeys on the stone steps at the entrance of Wannian Temple. Since there is an additional admission fee to enter the temple, I didn't go. I’ve been to the Golden Summit, so it doesn’t matter whether I go to this temple or not. Just follow the downhill road all the way back to Wuxiangang parking lot. Enjoy the scenery and sights along the way while enjoying the scenery. You can arrive at Wuxiangang around 4 o'clock. Return to Guo Temple from Wuxiangang depot. Then you can take a bus back to Chengdu at Baoguo Temple. If it is a day trip, this line is the most classic. If you want to fully understand Mount Emei, you can stay in Mount Emei for three days. That would be comprehensive.

Shopping

Shopping in Chengdu will never let you down. There are many specialties that you can enjoy shopping.

Shu Brocade, one of the "Four Famous Brocades in China", and Shu Embroidery, one of the "Four Famous Embroideries in China" are both good choices for you. There are also famous wines such as Luzhou Laojiao, as well as essential ingredients for cooking authentic Sichuan cuisine. The main condiment is Pixian Douban.

Chengdu’s shopping streets are concentrated around Chunxi Road, Zongfu Road, and Luomashi, with everything from large department stores and supermarkets to vendors and tourist souvenirs. But there are more people.

Specially introduce a small shop that makes silver jewelry.

We made an appointment to have dinner near Shuangnan Community. My friend called and said that there was a traffic jam and he would be late, so I took a walk nearby and wanted to buy something to take back to my wife. After walking a few steps, I saw a small store called "Even Number Silver Jewelry". I was immediately attracted by the decoration of the store, because I work as a landscape designer and have an occupational hazard with beautiful things. The decoration of the store is mainly black, and the windows and furnishings are all designed by the owner himself. It is very ethnic and very fashionable. You can tell at a glance that it is of extraordinary quality. Sure enough, after entering and chatting, I found out: the owner is a professional oil painter, and now designs and makes silver jewelry by himself. Many items are made by the owner, which means that what you buy is a limited edition. Haha, my wife doesn’t like to wear the same thing as others, so she finally chose a ring made by the shop owner. Later, I brought it to my wife at home. She liked it very much. Two flower buds grew high on the ring, and the branches and leaves were intertwined. According to the shop owner, the design of this ring was inspired by Shu Ting's poem "To the Oak Tree". Final note: The shop owner is a beautiful woman with a temperamental personality, hehe! ! ! (I almost forgot to write down the address of this store: No. 116 Shuangnan Street)

Eat and drink

When I arrived in Chengdu, there were a lot of things to eat, and they tasted good. I basically didn’t have the snacks I had for a few days. Same thing. There is a guide in the essence area that specifically introduces famous snacks. There are too many to choose from, so I told my classmates to eat whatever is popular and famous in Chengdu now. He drove me to eat everywhere, but I didn't remember many store names. I just remember fish head hot pot, eel hot pot, Huaxi beef noodles...

What impressed me most was Qintai Road. There are places to eat all the way, and the lights are bright at night. The one we went to was Huangcheng Laoma, which is quite recognized by Chengdu people and has a good environment, but it didn’t feel good to eat because the beef and mutton meat provided in the hot pot has been specially processed, which is not what I like.

(and expensive). And they don't even offer cheap vegetarian dishes, such as tofu and potatoes.

The other hotpots were good, cheap and tasty.

Accommodation

Chengdu has more than 100 hotels, restaurants, inns, guest houses, etc. of various grades, which can meet the accommodation needs of all Chinese and foreign tourists. For example: five-star: Jinjiang Hotel, four-star: Minshan Hotel, three-star: Chengdu Hotel. I think it's better to stay in some national chain business hotels, such as Jinjiang Inn and Home Inn, which are clean and affordable.

Others

Chengdu is relatively humid and it often rains, so you should bring an umbrella. Chengdu is not a very big city, and there are many places that are suitable for you to walk around and have a deeper understanding of the folk customs

Summary

Chengdu is a place you don’t want to leave once you arrive. Haha, this is a propaganda slogan of the Chengdu Municipal Government, I used it.
