I have stayed in hotels that cost more than 1,200 yuan a night, which is already a sky-high price to me, and it is just an ordinary famous hotel. This is a very unforgettable experience for me, but now that I think about it, I don’t regret it. I feel that I really saved a life with my love.

A few years ago, my husband and I went to visit scenic spots in the county during a holiday. Because we chose a non-holiday time, it was not so crowded. In the evening we drove to the hotel we had booked and met a dog blocking the road in the middle of the road.

Because the road is not very wide, if you drive directly past it, you will definitely run over the dog. I really like dogs, but I can’t keep one because of my hives. We got out of the car and took a look, and it was obvious whose pet dog it was. It looked like a Shiba Inu. It had been wandering for a while and had become very thin, and its hind feet were scratched.

The dog is very well-behaved and seems to know that we will not harm it. I don’t see any resistance from its legs, nor does it bark at us. My husband and I discussed it and decided to take it away. If it were left on the road like this, if a car came and hit it, it would still be a life!

So, we called the hotel where we had booked, and the hotel firmly told us that pets were not allowed. We explained the situation and the hotel still disagreed. We had no choice but to search online and almost all nearby hotels and hostels, but none of them agreed to bring pets.

Finally we found a B&B. Maybe there was no business during non-holidays, and the other party agreed to let us bring the dog in. However, we paid a cleaning fee of 1,000 yuan afterwards, saying that the sheets, quilt covers, and carpets had to be replaced. We bathed the dogs in the bathtub and blew their hair, so they had to find someone to disinfect the bathtub.

Including the cost of the room itself, *** spent 1,200 yuan for one night. The next day we took the dog to the pet store for bandaging and examination. Fortunately, the dog was only slightly injured.

Later we took the dog back to our hometown. Grandpa always said he wanted to raise a dog, and he asked us to help him see if there were any smart dogs. We told him about the dog experience, and Grandpa was very happy. Although the food I had with my grandfather might be mediocre, I still had a family at least.
