What are the fun places in Switzerland? What are the famous attractions in Switzerland?

Switzerland is a very wealthy European country. Swiss watches are popular, Swiss banks are world-famous, and there have been no wars in Switzerland for 500 years. It is said that it is a country where all the people are martial arts. Of course, it also has the cleanest land and developed infrastructure in the world. Here is a list of famous places to visit in Switzerland.

Landscape Category:

The Jungfraujoch is the highlight of the Jungfrau Railway Station: you can see the largest glacier in Europe, the Alec Glacier. It is said that the Black Forest can be seen anywhere in Germany and France. In fact, people won't notice it at all from up there. They only focus on the glacier beneath their feet. It's really spectacular.

And the scenery all the way up the mountain from Interlaken is particularly beautiful.

The Jungfrau Railway Station is also the highest railway station in Europe.

Due to climate warming, this glacier is melting at a rapid rate. If you want to see it, you have to go quickly, otherwise the glacier will be gone in another 30 to 50 years.

Important: Don’t go when the weather is bad, otherwise you won’t see anything.

Because of the high altitude, it is best to bring a warm jacket when the weather gets cold.

Zermatt, go see the highlights of the Matterhorn: Zermatt is a small town with many valley features and some small streets There is some scenery when you turn in. Of course, you must see the Matterhorn when you go there, which is the curved triangular peak that can be seen everywhere in Switzerland. Basically there are three main ways to see the mountains: take the mountain train opposite Zermatt Railway Station to Gornergrat Station opposite the Matterhorn, overlooking the Matterhorn (disadvantage: a bit far); walk to the small At the cable car station at the end of the town, take the cable car at Schwarzschild (Black Lake) and see the Matterhorn nearby (recommended); at the same cable car station, take the cable car from Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and look up at the Matterhorn (disadvantages: The big and small peaks are about the same height, and I can’t tell which one is the Matterhorn. The altitude is too high. It’s difficult to climb up to the top after nearly 100 steps. Advantages: This is the highest point reached by cable car in Europe. Special meaning. ) Key point: Don’t go if the weather is bad, otherwise you won’t be able to see the sharp corners in Zermatt, even the Marten.

Rigi Peak in Lucerne. Highlights: Although the hill is not high, it has a wide view and you can see Zurich. Best of all, Wiznau, the starting point of the mountain train, is almost a boat ride from Lucerne. This boat trip felt particularly good. Key points: Lucerne, Switzerland, is famous for its rainy weather. The weather here in Rigi changes quickly and it must be sunny.

(Looking over Lake Lucerne from the Regi Peak, only half of the mountain in the distance on the left hand side of the photo is Pilatus)

Humanity:

Lucerne Highlights: In Me Among the many Swiss cities I have visited, it always ranks first. This city is really beautiful, with mountains (Pilatus), water (Lake Lucerne, actually surrounded by one large, two small and three lakes, also called "Four State Lakes"), small bridges (Church Bridge) and churches (low-key appearance) , a baroque church with a warm interior), a beautiful old town, and the Transport Museum, which the Swiss like very much (Switzerland's first IMAX theater is in the museum). The people there are also very friendly. Been there a few times and love it Points: Will definitely repeat. Try not to go when the weather is bad. It rained twice and the shoes were awkward if they were not waterproof.

(The touching sleeping lion is actually a "dead lion")

Highlights of St. Gallen: There are very old monasteries and The monastery library (the original movie "In the Name of the Rose" starring Sean Connery was based on this library), the old town is very beautiful. To visit the library, you need to go to the back of the cathedral in the photo. When buying tickets, it is recommended to rent an audio guide, which has all the introductions to the library and the old town. You can learn a lot by walking around the old town. You are not allowed to take pictures in the library, but looking at so many ancient books that are hundreds of years old, it feels so mysterious. The main reason is that the city is not small and you need a pair of walking shoes.

(St. Gallen Abbey Church, when I went last time, it was just in time to set up the stage for the music festival)

Highlights of Lausanne: The old town is beautiful and the lakeside is very pleasant.

Moreover, this city is also surrounded by mountains (unfortunately it is a small hill) and by the water (Lac Lman, also known as Lake Geneva). When I first arrived in Lausanne, I had the illusion of going to Qingdao. ——The highest point of the city is a cathedral, and the city is built along the water. In addition to the old city, there is also a historical museum next to the hilltop cathedral. There is a large 17th century model of Lausanne which is very interesting with lively explanations and lighting. There is also the Olympic Museum by the lake. Go to the Olympic Museum. The main reason is that this city has a lot of uphills and downhills, which can be a bit tiring.

Solothun Highlights: When I tell the Swiss that I like this city, they all find it a bit incredible. In fact, this is a small and exquisite Baroque city. I mean its old town. It takes ten minutes to walk from the train station to the old town, but there is an unexpected joy in crossing the river and entering the old town. When I went there, there happened to be a military band performing in the street. No, everyone attended the concert for free. I also witnessed a soldier’s brother propose to his girlfriend. Accompanied by the band's music and Brother Bing's hug, my girlfriend's eyes were filled with tears, which made us all feel romantic. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why this city left such a deep impression on me.

(Exterior view of Solotun Ancient Town and moat)

Highlights of Neuchatel: A castle in the old town is very special. The side facing the railway is a white wall and a yellow window sill. Unfortunately, you can't see it from the side facing the lake, because the castle is now a government office, so you can't visit it. But this city can be used as a stop for sightseeing, and it is quite beautiful (sorry, no photos found).

Highlights of Basel: There is an art gallery in the old town where you can enjoy Renaissance paintings and many original works by Van Gogh. People who love art should like it very much.

(The famous "Red House" in Basel is actually the former court)

Highlights of Bern: In fact, many tourists don't know that the parliament building where the Swiss government is located can be visited. But if you have to go to a gate behind the river and follow the guide, the visit is time limited, so it will be a long time before you miss the next call. But you can also make an appointment in advance or inquire about the time and come on time. You can also climb the bell tower of the cathedral in the city center. It seems that for less than 5 yuan, you can see the entire city of Bern. The Old Town of Bern is a World Heritage Site (Sorry, I modified the webpage on my mobile phone and lost all the photos. If you can find some, you can add them, if not, forget them)

Highlights of Lugano : It has the scenery of Italy, but the safety of Switzerland. Another town not far from here is called Locarno, which hosts the Golden Leopard Film Festival every August. It's a fairly tropical city, but it's small. Although it enjoys a good reputation among Swiss people, I prefer Locarno. The ancient town is very warm and very close to the lake. You can also take a boat. There is a FOXTOWN famous brand direct sales hypermarket nearby, which is open all year round and can satisfy those who are looking for famous brands.

(Overlooking Lugano from the roof of the San Salvador hilltop church on the other side of Lugano, the small black spots in the photo are overwhelming mosquitoes)

Bellinzona Highlights: This It is the capital of the Italian-speaking state Ticino. The old town is very exquisite, with walls designed by Leonardo da Vinci. There are three castles in the city, and I only climbed the largest one in the city center. From there, I took photos of the two castles on the opposite hill from a distance. It is also the only place to go north to the German-speaking area and south to Italy (the photo is gone, and I don’t have the courage to look for it again today)

The Chateau de Chillon Montreux in Montreux is not a special one. A city worth visiting, but the nearby Charlan Castle (chteau Castle) is very nice and has a medieval feel. According to the instructions you received when you entered, it takes two hours to circle around carefully, and it is built on a rock, which is quite unique.

(Stone Castle)

Avenci was the capital of Switzerland during the Roman Empire and has always been an important city with more than 2,000 years of historical sites. Not too big, but beautiful.

(The back of the medieval castle in Awang)

Gruyère The cheese in Gruyère is delicious, and the old village of Gruyère is also beautiful. There is a castle and an alien museum. It is recommended to go there to have a cheese fondue, which will be considered a blessing for you to come. Note: I don’t recommend Geneva and Zurich, because I don’t think there is anything I like in either city, although Zurich has a good reputation among Swiss people (both are the most livable cities in the world). You can also visit the United Nations European Headquarters in Geneva. You need to go to its side entrance and a tour guide will explain it. It feels good. But Geneva is a mess now, it steals from Asians.

Railway Line:

The GoldenPass line is a panoramic train that starts in Montreux and ends in Lucerne. Two transfers are required in the middle, respectively at Zweisimann and Interlaken Ost (Interlaken East Station). The final transfer is no longer the previous 360-degree panoramic train. The train took a little while, but not bad. However, the journey is a bit long, taking 5 hours one way. If you take the luxury panoramic car at 9:45 in the morning, you will have to wait 2 hours in Interlaken before taking the car to Lucerne. At that time, we walked to the nearby Brienzsee Lake and sat on a simple bench by the lake to enjoy the breeze. It only took 20 minutes.

Glacier Express, this bus departs from Zermatt and goes to St. Moritz via Andermatt. It takes about 8 hours one way and passes the famous viaduct in the middle, but it is not so easy to take pictures.

(Landwasser Viaduct)

I also took the Mont Blanc Express in Chamonix, France, but I didn’t get to the end and got off halfway. For riding the most incline cable car in the world, this route is not as good as the previous two.

Also worth taking is the Bernina Express (my next goal), which also passes the viaduct mentioned above. It's a World Heritage Site, so I'm very eager for it.

No one seems to be talking systematically about the snow-capped mountains in Switzerland. As the essence of the Alps, Switzerland must visit its snow-capped mountains, just like you have never been to Beijing without going to the Great Wall. If you come to Switzerland, it’s really not worth a visit if you don’t climb the snow-capped mountains. Furthermore, much of Switzerland’s natural beauty is concentrated in and around the snow-capped mountains. While touring the snow-capped mountains, you'll also visit these beautiful towns, lakes, and landscapes. Here, we choose the famous Jungfraujoch, Matterhorn, and Ironstone to introduce to you.

Introducing the dividing lines of scenic spots and warning of a large number of pictures of charming scenic spots.

Jungfrau, Everest, Everest

The charm of Jungfrau lies not only in the snow-capped peaks swallowing mountains and rivers, but also in the several high-quality small towns around it. From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the Swiss scenery all year round. Several small towns at the foot of the mountain have green grass and beautiful scenery, just like fairy tales. The middle part is a magnificent glacier; the top of the mountain is covered with ice and snow all year round, overlooking the sea of ??clouds and blue sky, a beautiful white wonderland. Old Brennan, Wengen, Mürren, Grindelwald, remember the four charming towns of Jungfrau. Forsterberg and Menglihang, these are two mountains with beautiful views of Jungfrau from a distance.

There are generally two routes to Jungfraujoch, Line A and Line B. Line A is Interlaken-Lautbrennan-Wengen-Kleischeidak-Peak, and Line B is Interlaken - Greenwald - Kleine Scheidak - Summit. The last two lines meet at Maison Sayedek. It is generally recommended to go from Line A to Line B. If you go up the mountain in the morning, it is recommended to buy the morning ticket one day in advance, otherwise you can only buy the afternoon ticket if you buy it in the morning.

Lauter Brennen (Lauter Brennen) The German literal translation of Lauter Brunnen (Lauterbrunnen) is many springs. It is located in the Lauterbrennan Gorge and has more than 70 waterfalls. This is a veritable waterfall town. Towns, valleys, and alpine meadows are all composed of poetry and paintings. It is a paradise-like town that is worth spending more time in.

Wengen Wengen is located at the foot of the Jungfraujoch. This town exudes the atmosphere of ancient traditions. Because motor vehicles are not allowed to enter, it makes people feel particularly peaceful and pure. This is a particularly beautiful resort, perfect for skiing and walking.

In addition, Wengen often hosts many events, such as skiing in January, the Jungfrau Marathon in September and the Mendelssohn Music Week in August.

Little Shaydek Kleine Scheidegg (Little Shaydek Kleine Scheidegg) is located at an altitude of 2061 meters on the Jungfraujoch and is the gate to Aigre, Monks and Jungfrau. This snow mountain station is built with thick stones. There is a Dutch-style building on the top of the main entrance, and the two floors next to it are castle-style. There is a wind direction indicator on the top of the castle. From here, you can overlook the mountains and endless land.

The small town Murren named after the flower is located between Jungfraujoch and Snowlang Peak. From here you can take a train to Xuelang Peak. It is a paradise for hiking in summer and a mecca for skiing in winter. The simple town full of alpine style is also a popular place for tourists.

Grindelwald (Grindelwald), surrounded by mountains, is a famous holiday resort and health resort, as well as a picturesque town. The panoramic view of the Alps attracts many foreigners to come here for hiking holidays, regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Additionally, paragliding is very popular here.

Many people are not satisfied with the palace-like beauty of Jungfraujoch, but choose to experience the charm of Jungfraujoch on foot. Of course, the snow peak section is more dangerous and hiking is not recommended, but hiking will bring you closer to the Jungfraujoch on the section in front of Little Sayek. Here is a recommended hiking route. Take the cable car from Wengen to Menlichen for hiking, then hike from Menli to Klein Sayedijk (about 1 to 2 hours), and then take the mountain train to Jungfraujoch. When you can’t buy a ticket to Jungfraujoch in a small town, you can consider going this way.

Zermatt Zermatt (Matterhorn)

The glacier city of Zermatt is the best place to view the famous Swiss snow mountain Matterhorn. If you think Jungfraujoch is too crowded, seeing the snow-capped mountains is definitely your second choice. There are very few Chinese people, but hikers from European countries will definitely make a pilgrimage here. There are many classic hiking routes here. Cars cannot enter the town, the environment is elegant, the air is fresh, and you can enjoy the magnificent mountain peaks and glaciers. This is a world-famous mountain tourist resort with no car pollution. Lott Peak, Lake Stali, Gornergrat Observatory and Matterhorn Glacier Observatory are all excellent visual attractions for viewing the Matterhorn.

Stalis Lake, 2537 meters above sea level, is the best place to take photos of the first morning light and reflection of the Matterhorn. It is also one of the world-famous lakes.

Rothorn Paradise, at an altitude of 2,800 meters, has the best view of the Matterhorn. In addition to strolling and admiring the scenery, there is a lovely mountain restaurant on the top of the mountain where you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful scenery around you in a more comfortable way.

Gornergrat Observation Deck Gornergrat is the iconic attraction of the Matterhorn. From the observation deck here, you can admire 38 peaks above 4,000 meters above sea level, such as the famous Matterhorn and Gornergrat, the second largest glacier in the Alps. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while dining at the restaurant on the top of the mountain, or you can take a sunrise tour to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and rivers dyed red by the sunrise.

Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, Matterhorn Glacier Observatory, is the closest of the four routes to view the Matterhorn. It is the first choice for close contact with the Matterhorn. The top of the observatory is covered with snow all year round. This is where other mountains dwarf the sky. There is a large beautiful snowfield. White clouds often float under your feet, like a fairyland.

Li Shifeng Mountain

Li Shifeng is also one of the world-famous snow mountains. It has the world's first rotating climbing cable car, which can carry 80 passengers in total. Each journey will rotate 360 ??degrees and you will see beautiful scenery. Li Shifeng is very fun and there are not many small towns around it. Take the train from Lucerne to Engelberg and then take the cable car. On the other hand, when you reach the top of Mount Titlis, there are many types of recreational activities, such as the Ice Trapeze, Titlis Glacier Park, glacier hiking, and more.

These three are classic snow-capped mountains and are worth a visit.

If you want to know more about Swiss free travel and beautiful scenery, you can follow my official WeChat account Seektrip. I wrote an essential guide for independent travel in Switzerland, hoping to inspire you for your independent travel.

Walking at the foot of Manliqin Mountain, looking back on the past.

So many pictures. Switzerland is beautiful, and the best part is that these beauties are easily accessible, with trains, cableways, and complete hiking routes and directions.

The time for practical information is over

1. Don’t go to Jungfraujoch if the weather is bad. It is recommended to watch the real scene of Jungfraujoch through live cam that morning, and buy a ticket immediately on a sunny day!

2. The European strategy is still very tiring to complete. For this trip to the European Cup, I would like to thank the veteran driver ap, the travel consultant of (hard and wide) TraveliD.

3. In addition, this time I came back after 5 o'clock in the morning, and there was no security check at the airport at all! I hate not being able to buy more bags!

The following places are recommended for natural scenery

1. Eggishorn in Valais, the best location overlooking the entire Alec Glacier.

2. In Zermatt, Valais, take the rack train to the terminal station Gornergrat, overlooking the Gornergrat Glacier, the second largest glacier in the Alps.

3. Walk for 1 hour from Gornergrat to the foot of the mountain and watch the reflection of the Matterhorn in the glacier lake Rifflesee.

4. Walking down, you can see most of the 4,000-meter peaks in the Wallias Alps (the highest average altitude in the broad Alps), and you can also see another glacier, Fendel Glacier. The ruins follow the Five Lakes route.

5. The best nature in Switzerland is in South Valais, and that really means something spectacular. The Jungfraujoch, Mount Titlis, and Mount Rigi in the central and eastern regions are completely incomparable and are not on the same level. Of course, if you haven’t been to the Himalayas, you might think it’s pretty good.

6. The cultural scenery is worth visiting. I think only the old town of Bern, the capital of Bern, is listed as a World Cultural Heritage as a whole (similar to Strasbourg in France). It is also the place where Einstein derived the formulas for mass and energy and is worth a visit.
