Jiexiu East Station (high-speed railway station): Take the bus (Jiexiu East Station to Jiexiu downtown, the fare is 4 yuan) directly to the city bus parking lot, then transfer to Bus No.4 (Jiexiu downtown to Zhangbi) and get off at Zhangbi Castle terminal.

(2) Tourists from Taiyuan, Shuozhou, Xinzhou and Datong: get off at Jiexiu exit of Universiade Expressway, go straight and turn left at 100 meters, turn left at the first traffic light and enter X378 County Road, turn right at the traffic light and drive for 10 kilometers.

The guide castle of Zhangbi Castle was built for military purposes, so the castle actually contains three fortifications.

The first fortification is the urn at the outermost edge of the castle and the rammed earth wall around the castle 1.300 meters. Zhangbibao has two gates, the north gate is brick and the south gate is stone. The urn was built outside the north gate. On the top of the urn, there are nearly ten temples corresponding to military meanings, such as Guandi Temple.

The second fortification was cleverly set in the living area of the fortress. A main road of Zhangbi Castle is called Dragon Street, which connects the north and south gates. Divide the castle in half. The wall on the frontage side of Longjie Street is higher than other places. Every building facing the street in the castle will not open the door on the main street. All intersections are T-shaped, and there is no cross. The reason is that once the enemy breaks through the first line of defense and enters the fortress, he can only detour on the road. At this time, as long as the alley door is closed, every building on both sides of Longjie Street is called an independent fortress in the castle. The third fortification is the underground fortification system, that is, the tunnel, which is also the most distinctive place of Zhangbi Castle. It needs to enter from Guandi Temple on the right side of the entrance. The height of the tunnel is about 2m from the ground, with the middle layer 8- 10m and the bottom layer 17-20m. The tunnels are distributed in a three-layer network structure. There is a soil trough for feeding livestock on the high floor; There is an earth hole that can accommodate two or three people at intervals below the middle-level cave wall, which is an authentic sentry and a cave for storing food.
