(4) Sino-Thai-Farei Temple archway (1.5-2 hours)-Xitai (0.5- 1 hour)

A. Yuefeng Mountain on the west platform, with an altitude of 2,773 meters. The Farei Temple at the top of the platform is dedicated to the Buddha body of Manjusri, a lion.

Xiping Terrace, named Yue Feng, is 2773 meters above sea level, with a flat and wide top. On Tuesday, when the bright moon sinks into the west, it looks like a hanging mirror.

At the top of the west step is Farei Temple, where the lion roars manjusri. According to Buddhist legend, Manjusri Bodhisattva takes a lion as a mount, symbolizing its strength.

Nantai

Nantai, also known as Jinxiu Peak, is 2485 meters above sea level. If the top is covered with a bowl, the top area of the platform is about 6.5438+0.4 million square meters. "Liang Qingshan Zhi" said: "The peaks are steep, the smoke is bright, the grass is fine and the flowers are miscellaneous, and the mountains are densely covered, hence the name."

On the top of the South Terrace, there is a Fossett dedicated to Manjusri of wisdom. In fuseki, the stone Buddha hall with a long history is still preserved.

Beitai

Beitai, also known as Cicada, has a top area of 370,000 square meters. Ye Dou Feng is 306 1 m above sea level, which is the highest peak in Wutai Mountain and the highest altitude recorded in North China. It is called "the roof of North China". The North Station is characterized by high altitude, strong wind and lightning, and extremely low temperature of minus 40 degrees in winter. "Liang Qingshan Zhi" reads: "From above, there is a storm on the top of the mountain, coming from the middle of the mountain. " There is a Ling Ying Temple at the top of the platform, which is dedicated to the spotless Manjusri Bodhisattva. There is a Black Dragon Pool at the top of Beitai Mountain, which never dries up all the year round. It is not only one of the sources of water for monks at the top of Beitai, but also a scenic spot in the eyes of Buddhist believers.

Sino-Thai, also known as Cui Shi Peak, has a maximum elevation of 2,894 meters and an area of about10.5 million square meters. At the top of the central platform, huge stones are piled up, and the surface of the stones is mixed with moss. The sun shines brightly, and full of green flies like a dragon, which is called "the dragon turns over the stone". There are Taihua Pool in the northwest of Taiwan, Ganlu Spring in the north, Yulong Pool in the southeast, and three springs beside the pool, which are the birthplaces of five streams in the north and south. At the top of the platform, there is a Yanjiao temple, where a statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva is enshrined. There is also a praying lighthouse built in the Ming Dynasty, with small towers at each corner, symbolizing five towers in the east, west, north and south. At the top of the platform, there is a teaching temple.

Tayuansi

Tayuan Temple in Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province is a Buddhist temple named after a pagoda. Because of the stupa of Sakyamuni, the footprint tablet of Buddha and the stupa of Manjushri, the founder of Wutai Mountain, the temple is regarded as a holy place by Buddhist believers. The Sakyamuni Buddha Pagoda, the White Pagoda in Tibet, is beautifully shaped and located in Taihuai Town in the center of Wutai Mountain, surrounded by temples, so it has become the symbol of Wutai Mountain, the first of the four Buddhist holy places in China.

Xiantong temple

Xiantong Temple is located in Taihuai Town. It is the largest and oldest temple in Wutai Mountain. This temple has a long history and many precious cultural relics. It is a pearl in the holy land of Buddhism.

Pu Sa Ding

Yuanzhao temple
