Article 11 The star rating obtained by a hotel indicates that all buildings, facilities, equipment and services of the hotel are at the same level. After the star rating, buildings with different stars may not continue to use the same hotel name, otherwise the star rating of the hotel will be invalid.
Article 12 After a hotel is rated as a star, it is necessary to close the service facilities and equipment specified in the star standard, or cancel or change some service items specified in the star standard, which must be approved by the hotel star rating agency, otherwise the star rating of the hotel will be invalid.
Thirteenth hotel star rating, due to changes in building standards, facilities and equipment standards and service standards, must apply to the hotel star rating agencies to re-evaluate the star rating, the hotel's original star rating is invalid. If any standard of the inspected hotel does not meet the requirements, the inspectors have the right to suggest that the star rating agencies of foreign-related hotels issue a warning notice, informed criticism, downgrade or cancel the star rating according to the specific circumstances. If the situation is true and handled properly, the star rating agency of foreign-related hotels shall adopt the suggestions of inspectors.

The hotel star rating agencies of the National Tourism Administration have the right to directly issue a warning notice, informed criticism, reduce or cancel the star rating after notifying the hotel star rating agencies of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government according to the problems found.
