1, about Nanyue Temple. When we went, the main entrance of Nanyue Temple was still under repair, so we had to go in through Xihuamen. However, even if we go to the main entrance of the temple, it won't be a big problem, because there are directions at the entrance of the temple, and it is easier to find Xihua Gate.

2. Tickets and maps. After Nanyue entered the mountain, the map was a gift. Newcomers don't have to worry about maps They can get it at the main entrance of Hengshan Mountain. When I went there in 2006, it was said that tickets for Hengshan Mountain would rise sharply. I don't know the reliability of the news, but I haven't been there now and I don't know if there is any price increase.

3. About accommodation. There are many places to stay at the top of the mountain and halfway up the mountain, but because of the climate, many places may be more or less humid, so be careful when choosing a hotel. As it was the off-season when we went, the price was relatively low. As long as it's not a star-rated hotel, no matter how much the price is, we can bargain hard. A standard double room 40-50 yuan. There were six of us, and the accommodation cost 120 yuan.

Ordinary hotels generally have hot water and separate bathrooms (it is recommended to look at the house carefully), but the hot water is supplied by electric water heaters, and the amount of water is relatively small, so it is not very convenient to take a bath.

4. About eating. It is cheaper to eat in Hengshan County or Nanyue District. However, the price of restaurants near the peak is outrageous, and only noodles and rice noodles are served for breakfast. Even white rice porridge is only available in the peak season, so eating it is a big problem. It is suggested that tourists who are going to live in the mountains should make necessary preparations.

5. About scenic spots.

On the hill, there is a ancestral temple in China, which contains many ancestral temples of surnames, and the introduction of the origin of surnames, which may not be accurate, but we can still have a look.

It is absolutely necessary for tourists who want to see the sunrise or the sea of clouds to bring a coat with the right thickness. It's cold and windy at peak night and early morning.

It was evening when we reached the top of the mountain, and it happened to be raining. Standing on the top of the mountain, we can see the sea of clouds near Tianzhu Peak, which is so beautiful.

Huixian Bridge was recommended on the website search, so we went. This is indeed a place worth visiting. On the way to the summit, you can definitely find the intersection by careful observation, and it takes about an hour to go back and forth. We went after 8 o'clock in the morning, just in the fog. Standing at the end of the road, looking at the mountains in the distance, I saw clouds coming, especially near the fairyland. Thank you for recommending this place. In addition, there is a large pine forest at the fork in the road from the top of the mountain to Huixian Bridge. Under the morning breeze, the pines burst. I really want to suggest that the management office name this place "listening to the sound of pines and waves" or "the sound of pines and waves".

You can go halfway up the mountain to see Magu Wonderland. There is a rare path behind the restaurant in Magu Wonderland. If someone likes the feeling of winding and seclusion, they can go for a walk. There is a fork in it. Don't climb the mountain (if you want to climb to the top, that's another matter). You can go around the restaurant door in about 20 minutes. It is recommended that tourists who take this path prepare some small medicines, such as wind oil or cool oil, to prevent mosquito bites and allergies.

There is a Nantai Temple in Xishan Mountain, which I personally think is the most worthwhile temple in Nanyue main scenic spot. There is a King Kong stupa in it, but it needs more donations from 5 yuan to climb it. It's very high, with nine floors. It is recommended that tourists who are not particularly physically strong do not have to climb up.

There are not many tourists at this time, so there are two options to go down the mountain at this time. One is to return to the Mid-Mountain Pavilion along Magu Wonderland and then go down the mountain; Second, after walking, Bailongtan went down the mountain. We chose the latter. Facts have proved that the road is really long. The roadside indicates a downhill slope of about 10 km, but it is much less on the map. Personally, it is estimated that it is about 8-9 kilometers from there to the bus station, which is quite hard. If there is MM as a companion, it is suggested to take a bus down the mountain from Nantai Temple, or return to Mojingtai from Nantai Temple, or choose to return to Banshanting along Magu Wonderland and then go down the mountain.
