conclusion

Fufu Nara is a small luxury hotel, located in the corner of Nara Park, with Heron Pool and Fujiantang on one side, which is one of the most distinctive attractions in Nara. During the Taisho period, the structure of medieval temples was gradually transformed to meet the needs of tea rooms and gardens, which embodied the concept of "courtyards are the same as houses" and realized the harmony between architecture and gardens. By respecting nature, the viewer's experience in the garden is enhanced. These newly created landscape make Nara a cultural center deeply loved by intellectuals. In this project, the design integrates the building into a part of the garden, trying to inherit the spirit of "the courtyard remains unchanged" and make it more modern.
