The Origin of Yang Chun Deng Bao Hotel

The origin of Yang Chun Deng Bao Hotel is related to the local history and culture. According to legend, in the Tang Dynasty, an official named Chen traveled to Yangchun and Lianzhou. He likes the beautiful scenery and hot springs in Yangchun very much and often stops to have a rest. Later, Chen was exiled to Yangchun for offending the emperor, but instead of being decadent, he worked and lived harder. He built many public welfare facilities in Yangchun, and did many good things for the local people, and was deeply loved and respected by the people. In order to commemorate this good official who benefited the people, the local people built Chen Zuju in his hometown, and built a "Deng Baolou" next to it for tourists and local people to rest and drink tea. Later, in order to meet the market demand, this building was converted into the present Deng Bao Hotel, which became a cultural card and tourist attraction in Yang Chun.
