Several routes from Vancouver to Banff (3)

Group 3 This third route seems to be for overseas tourists. It lasts six days, including four days to Banff. On the first day of my trip to Banff, I also visited the ginseng farm through Kamloops, but I didn't go north that day, but went to Vernon to visit the last spike on the other two lines of the Pacific Railway, and then stopped at Golden. The next day, I will go north along Icefield Avenue, but from the itinerary, I will stop at Columbia Glacier (I won't go to the scenic spots near Jasper Town and Robertson Mountain), and then I will turn around and go south to Banff Town and Republic Falls, because I will go to Calgary that night, so it will take quite a long time on the way. The next day, after coming out of Calgary, I will go to Lake Louise and Lake Emerald. The itinerary of this day is relatively rich, depending on how the tour guide arranges it. Yoho National Park should also have famous scenic spots such as Takakkaw Waterfall and Natural Bridge, and it is not a special detour. The last day was basically a trip and a visit to the winery.

Day 1: Original place of residence-Vancouver

A professional guide will pick you up. After arriving in Vancouver by plane, tourists will gather at the visitor center at the airport. Visitors who arrive in Vancouver before noon will be sent for a half-day city tour to Stanley Park, the largest city park in North America, and Chinatown 1986, Gastown and salmon tasting in Washington, DC, where the World Expo will be held.

The next day Vancouver-Ganlu City-Golden Town

Take a luxury tour bus in the morning and start a trip to the Rocky Mountains. Passing through the Fraser Valley and several lowland plains, you will arrive at Ganlu City, which is famous for its rich American ginseng. The staff of American ginseng factory will explain the growth process, varieties and selection methods of American ginseng to the guests. Lunch is in a Chinese restaurant. After that, I went to Fei Ying Depression between the mountains, where the last nail was laid on the Victoria Pacific Railway. After the tour, you will pass through Loza Depression, the highest point of 1 km with the most beautiful scenery. Arrive in Golden Town later and have dinner with the hotel or local restaurant. Stay at Mountain View Hotel or similar hotel.

Day 3 Golden Town-Bito Lake-Jasper National Park-Glacier-Giant Snowmobile-Banff-Calgary

In the morning, go to the world-famous Columbia Glacier in Jasper National Park, take a giant snowmobile to the 270-meter-deep Dibas Glacier in Asia, and get in touch with the remains left by the second ice age. After that, I arrived in Banff National Park, Banff City for sightseeing and visited the Republic Falls. Then go to Calgary and visit the site of 1988 Winter Olympics for free. Stay at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel or equivalent.

Day 4 Lake Louis-Crane-Salmon Bay-Vernon City

In the morning, I went to Lake Louis, which is known as "the jewel of the Rocky Mountain", and took a cable car. But seeing the mirror-like reflection of the lake and the majestic mountains is like being in a paradise. Group members can enjoy a rich buffet lunch at the Castle Hotel in Lake Louis. In the afternoon, go to Youhe National Park and visit the famous Jade Lake. Go to Salmon Bay/Vernon at dusk. Stay at Prestige Water Hotel/Vernon Prestige Hotel or equivalent.

Day 5 Salmon Bay-Keelung-Vancouver (brunch)

In the morning, go to the famous winemaking and orchard area on the west coast of Canada, and visit the famous wineries in Okanagan winemaking area in BC. The brewing process of red, white and iced wine was introduced. Have more opportunities to taste all kinds of famous wines. After the tour, go to the famous Okanagan Lake, which is the haunt of lake monsters in Indian myths and legends. Team members can take photos with the stone statue of the lake monster as a souvenir. Return to Vancouver along the expressway after lunch and arrive in Vancouver in the afternoon.
