Intercontinental Hangzhou Hotel is located in the central business district of Qianjiang New Town, Hangzhou, near Qiantang River, which is famous for its trend. Civic Center, Inspur Cultural City and Hangzhou Grand Theatre are all close at hand. The hotel is close to the Citizen Center Station of Metro Line 4, and can directly reach the Train City Station, the East Railway Station, the West Lake Scenic Area and the business district. The hotel was designed by Carlos Ott, a famous Canadian architect. The whole building is spherical in shape, with gold as the main color, just like a golden sun, echoing the crescent-shaped Hangzhou Grand Theatre in the distance, meaning that the sun and the moon shine together. With its unique shape, the hotel has become a striking landmark in Hangzhou. The interior of the hotel is magnificent, and the dome on the ground floor of the lobby on the fifth floor is as high as 85 meters. The hotel has 384 rooms distributed inside the dome, covering an area of 55-420 square meters. Each room has bright viewing floor-to-ceiling windows, which can enjoy the Qiantang River landscape, or a light show, or a musical fountain.

There are five restaurants with different styles in the hotel, 1 lobby bar, including original vegetarian all-day restaurant, seafood restaurant, Riyuexuan Chinese restaurant, Worthinder restaurant, noodle restaurant and so on. It has a meeting place of nearly 6,000 square meters. Among them, the1780m2 pillarless super-large banquet hall was once the main venue of many major international conferences.
