The contrast between Shakespeare and Byron?

Shakespeare was the most important writer in Britain and Europe during the Renaissance. His works were widely circulated and highly praised by later generations. Some people even say that if there were no Shakespeare in the world, the world would take a big step backwards. Byron is indeed a representative of English romantic literature, and his works are no less than Shakespeare's. Besides, Byron was not only a great poet, but also a fighter who struggled for his ideals all his life. He actively and bravely joined the revolution, participated in the Greek national liberation movement and became one of the leaders. In contrast, I don't think there is any contrast between the two.
