1, Hanging Garden

The Hanging Garden is located at the top of the Oriental Gate Tower. The unique arched glass curtain wall system at the top encloses an open "greenhouse space" and is designed into two sets of presidential suites in Chinese classical style.

In order to fully show the originality of the skyline of the Oriental Gate and the hanging garden in fire fighting, and to ensure that the plane position of the fire elevator and the height of its ceiling will not affect the design of the hanging garden, a fire elevator in the north and south towers was rebuilt on the fourth refuge floor.

When the electromechanical designer arranges the water cannon and smoke exhaust fan, he designs it in combination with the curtain wall frame system, and directly sets the fan on the outer curtain wall, thus eliminating the smoke exhaust pipeline and reducing the influence of electromechanical equipment on the visual effect of the hanging garden.

2. Business design

In the design of the Oriental Gate, there is a river across the north and south towers, a dome-shaped commercial pedestrian street and a large number of mezzanine shops. In order to ensure the effect of the dome walkway, the main electromechanical horizontal pipelines are not above the walkway, but at the interface of the shops, further squeezing the area and clear height of the mezzanine space. Between the north and south podium, there is a continuous bridge with a span of more than 60 meters on the sixth to eighth floors.

In structural design, the two ends of the bridge are connected with the podium through sliding bearings, which need to bear horizontal and vertical deformation. Navigation in the river is required, and the civil structure at the bottom of the river cannot have obvious protrusions. In addition, water leakage warning is added at the bottom of the river to monitor deformation joints in real time.
