Do parents still insist on the object of disagreement?

At some point, I saw someone asking, should objects that parents disagree stick together? This question reminds me of a story "Drunkenness" that I saw in the popular law drama.

There is a girl, Xiaoxi, whose mother died of illness and lived alone with her father. Xiaoxi's father is in the furniture business and his family is not bad. My father had an apprentice named Li Feng. They grew up together, so they were childhood friends. But Xiaoxi's father always looks down on Li Feng. Zhou Li told the brook the cruel truth hidden in the past. At that time, it was the mistress of boss Jiang who wanted to buy Xiaoxi's father's furniture store. Boss Jiang asked Xiaoxi's father to play a honey trap, but the result was unsuccessful. Then, boss Jiang colluded with him to kill Xiaoxi's father, causing an accident. After boss Jiang and his father killed Xiaoxi, they got what they needed. Boss Jiang bought a furniture store and married Xiaoxi as he wished. Zhou Li, the insider of the murder case, was condemned by his conscience and chose to run away.

For Xiaoxi, I feel that I have found a man to shelter from the wind and rain, but I don't know that all the storms are brought to me by this man.

Everyone is more or less influenced by family when choosing the other half. Like this story, Li Feng is mentally distorted because he has been despised by Xiaoxi's father. Even though he really loved Xiaoxi and didn't directly hurt Xiaoxi, he killed her closest relative or indirectly hurt Xiaoxi because of his distorted personality.

Therefore, the opposing half of the family must think calmly, why does the family disagree, what aspects the family thinks he is unacceptable, and whether he can accept those insufficient aspects in the process of getting along with TA in the future.

When choosing a partner, you must carefully consider the opinions of your family. Because many times, your partner's love for your advantages will become a disadvantage after you get married. As an outsider, family members can evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of TA more objectively. Based on their understanding of you, they can basically evaluate whether you two are really suitable. As the old saying goes, "if you don't listen to the old man, you will suffer."
