Pujin Bridge was built in 54 BC1year (the first year of Lu) and is the first pontoon bridge on the Yellow River. According to records, Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, reinforced and built Pujin Bridge in the 12th year of Kaiyuan (AD 724). There are four cast iron cows on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to build the Weihe Bridge. There is a pillar under the cow, which goes more than a foot underground. There is an iron man next to each cow, and there are 36 iron mountains in front and behind.

The Tang Kaiyuan Iron Cattle unearthed from Pujin Ferry Site are numerous, large in size (ranging from 3 to 3.3 meters in length), heavy in weight (45 tons in column base and 70 tons in weight), excellent in iron, beautiful in appearance and exquisite in workmanship, and of great practical value. It has great historical and archaeological value and is really a national treasure.
