Is there any interesting place in Qingdao, Shandong?

Where is fun to go to Qingdao? Of course, it is Qingdao's landmark trestle!

According to reports, Qingdao Trestle is an old bridge with a history of 100 years. Qingdao Trestle is located at the southern end of Zhongshan Road in Qingdao, and the bridge body penetrates into the crescent-shaped Qingdao Bay from the coast. It was built in the 18th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1892). It is the earliest military-specific artificial wharf building in Qingdao, and now it is an important landmark building and famous scenic spot in Qingdao. Now the Qingdao trestle is crowded with people every day, and tourists can visit Qingdao.

Because the trestle bridge is close to high-speed railway station, tourists will pass the trestle bridge when they get off the train and go to the hotel for accommodation. As a landmark attraction in Qingdao, the trestle bridge is full of tourists. The trestle is a steel-concrete structure with a total length of 440 meters and a width of 8 meters. There is a semi-circular breakwater at the southernmost end of the bridge, and a two-story octagonal Chinese attic named "Huilan Pavilion" is built inside, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery downstairs.

In the early morning of the day we left Qingdao, we went to the trestle. Because the trestle bridge is not too far from the railway station, we left early that day and there was no traffic jam on the road. It took us half an hour to get to the trestle from the Olympic Sailing Center where we live. After stopping, we went to the trestle for a walk. It was a fine day. I wonder if the trestle usually accepts tickets. Anyway, when we went that morning, the trestle was open and no one came to pick up the tickets. In addition, there are many locals swimming in the seaside near the trestle. Just because it was too early, the "Huilan Pavilion" didn't open that day, and we couldn't climb to see Qingdao Bay. However, we really had a good time shooting at the trestle that day.
