Have you ever seen a paper building?

Recently, invited by Peking University alumni, he participated in an investigation on agricultural cultural innovation in Taiwan Province Province. Before I came here, I heard that there was a magical building in Taiwan Province Province, which was made of paper from columns to skeletons to curtains. Can such a building stand the test of wind and rain? Where is the ingenuity of its design? Next, Luo Yi Colorful will take you to find out.

According to the description of Mr. Ban Mao, the architect of the church, the inspiration for the building came from the oval space used by bernini, the architect of Baroque era in the 7th century.

The building materials are mainly paper tubes and wood, and the colors are mainly wood and white. With pure colors and shapes, people can relax and be purified.

The white chandelier of the church, like crystal pearls, is fresh and full, echoing the hanging paper curtain, creating a quiet and elegant atmosphere.

The dome is made of treated canvas, which is light and waterproof. It is composed of bottom column and 12 steel cable, and no large machine is needed for assembly.

Beige notes, elegant and romantic curtains.

The paper tube column formed by high density kraft paper at one time is light, but it can withstand great pressure.

Smallpox is made of wood and cardboard, and its natural wood color gives people a warm feeling of embracing nature.

These paper columns were shipped from Hanshin, Japan more than 20 years ago and have been well preserved so far, which shows that the life of this paper material is not short.

The closed kraft paper column can not only be supported vertically, but also be used as a stool horizontally, which is practical and environmentally friendly.

The building skin is made of translucent polycarbonate panel material to protect the paper tube from external substances. The vertical doors on the front and front half skins on both sides of the building can be opened, and the skin on the back of the building is completely closed, which plays a role in wind and rain prevention.

Paving style of veranda (space between ellipse and square).

The mystery of the building lies in the oval space surrounded by 58 paper tube columns. This paper tube column made of high-density kraft paper is quite light (we can lift the paper tube and sit on the stool at will, and the length of the column is twice as long as the stool, and the weight can be estimated), but the compressive strength of each paper tube can reach 6936 kg, and the bending strength is 85.2 kg per square centimeter. It can be seen that this building material synthesized from high-density kraft paper is very strong, environmentally friendly and easy to construct.

Don't you find it incredible to see the basic structure of the paper dome? Such a unique design, simple and generous, fresh and elegant, and environmentally friendly and lasting, is really amazing. So, how did such a church made of paper come about?

? ? Before. This world?

In fact, the "paper dome" is not in Taiwan Province Province, but in Hanshin. 1995, the earthquake of magnitude 7.2 hit the Japanese architect Hanshin and was deeply moved by the sight of the disaster area. He put forward the idea of building a "paper dome" with lightweight and quickly assembled paper materials, and persuaded the priest through persistent experiments and the strong demand of residents in the disaster area for gathering space. With the efforts of more than 300 volunteers, residents and church members, the paper dome was completed. This building, which breaks the barriers of ethnic groups, religions and nationalities, was built by Qi Xin, and officially named "Paper Dome".

? Today? . Healthy?

In 2005, a delegation of partners in rebuilding communities in Taiwan Province Province attended the 10th anniversary of the Hanshin earthquake, and learned that the Paper Dome built during the Hanshin earthquake had completed its task and was ready to be demolished and relocated, and a permanent church was built at the original site. Liao, head of the delegation and chairman of the new hometown, suggested that the "paper dome" be moved to Taiwan Province Province as the center of reconstruction and exchange in the disaster area. But the idea of rebuilding the "new hometown" is not simply to erect a church, but to plan a complete ecological park. Therefore, the reconstruction of the paper dome has gone through a long attempt to plan.

On June 25th, 2008, at 65438, thousands of men, women and children from all over Taiwan Province Province gathered in Taomi, and 58 "PaperDome" paper columns of the paper dome were erected again within two hours.

? ? Heavy. Healthy? ?

Compared with Japan, PaperDome has some changes: the temporary chain brick floor is changed to stone; The original outer frame of the wave board was replaced by a PC board; Because some paper columns were damaged when they were transported to Taiwan Province, after customs inspection, six of them were re-made by Taiwan Province Paper Factory, and the color was darker than other paper columns, so they could be clearly identified. Curtains made of paper are hung on the inner wall, which are elegant and romantic, and are decorated with prayer cards written by people. Coupled with the outdoor open green landscape, it stands between Qingshan and Yuan Ye, which is more sacred, natural and soothing than the original crowded hut.

Locke talks a lot?

The paper dome is a unique and exquisite design work with environmental protection significance. Its process from construction to demolition to transnational rebirth is not only the rebirth of a building in a different place, but also the interpretation of people's hopes, dreams and a better life in the process of reconstruction in the disaster area. "Luoyi Colorful" thinks that the paper dome is a building with strong humanistic spirit, and its uniqueness lies not only in environmentally friendly building materials and exquisite design, but also in the cohesion of human spiritual civilization.
