Wasting time is simply the most romantic thing in the world

We have been to many places together and wasted a lot of time.

In 2017, we went to Bangkok and Krabi together.

I still remember that as soon as I got off the plane and took a taxi in Bangkok, I was deceived by the local taxi driver. The reason was that I didn’t know Thai baht, so I gave the driver an extra thousand baht.

Later we went to the local night market, drank local beer, and wandered aimlessly in the hot and humid streets.

Our plan did not go to the popular Phuket, but to the less popular Krabi. There are very few people on the streets of Krabi, so I booked a sunset restaurant in advance to watch the sunset. We booked snorkeling again for the next day, and wandered on the beach in the evening to watch the dusk and sunset.

We were blowing the sea breeze aimlessly, not caring about the passage of time, just taking a lazy walk in the present.

We went to Taiwan in 2018. As soon as we arrived at the hotel in Kaohsiung, it started to rain heavily outside. We were lucky that we arrived at just the right time to escape the sudden rain.

We went all the way south again and arrived in Kenting. Let’s blow the wild wind of the Pacific Ocean together and reach the southernmost lighthouse together. We rode motorcycles together and wandered around the night market in Kenting.

Then we went north to Taipei, where we saw the 101 Building, visited the Shilin Night Market, drank authentic milk tea, and wandered around the old streets of Taipei.

In the winter of 2019, we went to Beijing.

I want to go see the snow, please accompany me. It was the Chinese New Year and Beijing was deserted. We walked in the alleys of Beijing, walked over overpasses, and were surprised to find that there were trams in the capital. We went to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and ate various roast ducks. I want to skate, and you accompany me to find the ice rink. We get lost in Houhai and ride around on Harrow bikes. Because the temperature was not low that winter, we found that the ice rink in Houhai was not open when we arrived. We were not disappointed at all and laughed at each other for going to such a troubled place in vain. It’s not a true man to reach the Great Wall. We climbed all the way to the Great Wall again, but it never snowed in Beijing. We were leaving on the last day and took time to go to the 798 Art Center. It snowed that day and I finally saw the snow. Thank you.

In the summer of 2019, we went to Osaka and Kyoto.

I took the complicated Japanese subway to reach Universal Studios. Wandering from day to night. Ride a roller coaster and experience Harry Potter's castle. I give you a Snoopy, and you give me a unicorn.

The streets in Kyoto are cleaner than those in Osaka. We were on the bridge watching people under the bridge. They were drinking beer and playing guitar. We almost missed the last bus and didn't get the matcha we wanted, but we did see the cute deer. I don’t remember the journey in three years, I just remember how hot it was.

In 2020, we were unable to go abroad because of the epidemic.

In the autumn of 2020, we went south to Guiyang and Guangzhou.

It was already late when we arrived in Guiyang, so we still took a taxi to the night market and queued up for snacks. The tofu dumplings were delicious, but the whistle noodles were really hard to eat.

There are so many delicious things to eat in Guangzhou. While you were complaining, you accompanied me to check in the scenic spots that you had already visited. We rode bicycles among the arcades. I took a lot more photos of strange movements.

In the winter of 2020, we went to Hainan. I got off the plane wearing a sweater, and the Didi chef who picked me up was not surprised. We went directly to Houhai Village for surfing, and no one thought it was strange to hang out in the village wearing swimsuits. Eat cool tonic and Wenchang chicken together. Lazy and with nothing to do.

We spent a lot of time together and went to many places. We know that in the end we will have no results, but we are still willing to waste until now. No matter what happens in the future, let's just waste time together.
