Where is Qingguo Lane in Changzhou?

Qingguo Lane is located in the south-central part of the old city of Changzhou, starting from Zhuochu Bridge of Heping Road in the east, south street of commercial center in the west and moat in the south.

Qingguo Lane is one of the ancient streets in Changzhou. It was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (158 1). At that time, the canal entered Xishuiguan from Wenheng Bridge, passed through Xiatang from east to west, and wound eastward from Dongshuiguan through the city. Qingguo Lane faces the canal section of the city. At that time, ships gathered and it was a fruit distribution center in the north and south. There are equipment fruit shops along the coast, which are called the old "Thousand Fruit Lane". "Changzhou Fu" says: "When you walk into Qianguo Lane, peaches, plums, plums and colors are all old." After the canal was diverted, the name of this alley remains to this day. It is difficult to distinguish between "Qian" and "Qing" in Changzhou dialect, which leads to the present "Qingguo Lane".

Simply put, it's on the other side of South Street, behind the old Fortune Hotel.

Where did you come by bus in Xinbei District? At present, B 12, 302 and 42 all go to South Street.
