Which is better, the hotel reservation clerk or the front desk?

I'm in a five-star hotel. I feel that the reservation department is relatively harmonious, the frequency is normal, and there is no night shift. There seems to be no middle class. Voice is the first line, and people are the second line. There will definitely be a middle shift and a night shift at the front desk. Because of face-to-face communication with guests, the requirements for appearance and language ability are relatively high, and of course there is a relatively large room for development. From employee-foreman-assistant manager-lobby manager-front desk manager-assistant manager of front office-front office manager-deputy director of room service department-director-resident manager-general manager, this line will generally belong to the sales department, but from my hotel experience of more than four years, I haven't heard of any reservation manager who can achieve the director level, and the development speed is very slow, but it is beneficial to family members and normal classes. The above are personal opinions and are for reference only.
