China, Northwest University: Experience Sharing in Postgraduate Entrance Examination of Modern and Contemporary Literature?

First,? Personal introduction

I am a 2022 graduate student of Northwest University. I always feel that I have gone through the postgraduate entrance examination and gained some experience, but when the results didn't come out, I was not sure about anything and dared not share them. The results so far are ok. I hope to share some experiences and help. First of all, I didn't report to the counseling institution during the postgraduate entrance examination, but just looked for resources from the Internet and listened to some targeted online classes. If you are conscious enough, you can choose to review by yourself, but there is a disadvantage that you need to check a lot of information yourself by blocking the news. If you apply for an organization, you must carefully screen it. Several of my classmates signed up for the organization, and they felt good at first. Later, the organization assigned the guidance of the senior sister, and only watched ppt every day, which had no practical effect and wasted time and energy (after all, the organization was not cheap).

Second,? Reasons for choosing a school

Northwest University enrolls full-time postgraduate students in China's modern and contemporary literature in the College of Arts. China Language and Literature of Northwest University was rated as Grade B in the fourth round of national discipline evaluation, with good discipline strength.

The major of Chinese language and literature in the College of Liberal Arts starts from 1902, and the major of Chinese language and literature is the literature and language of middle school and western learning. 1923, National Northwest University established the College of Arts. 1924, Lu Xun was invited to give lectures. Famous scholars such as Zeng, Luo Changpei, Xia, Xu Shoushang, Yang Hui, Luo Genze, Gao Ming and Jiang Tianshu taught here, and Fu Gengsheng, Liu Zhisheng, Hao Yufeng, Dan Jixiang, Song, Yang Chunlin, An Qi, Zhang Hua and Liu Jianjun have taught here for a long time. A large number of outstanding talents have been trained, such as scholars He Xilai, Wang Furen, Xue Tianwei, Dang Shengyuan, poets, Lei, writers Jia Pingwa, Chi Zijian, Wu, Mu Tao, He, film and television directors, Huang Jianxin, journalists Wan Wuyi, Mary and Li Yong. Known as "the cradle of writers", "the important town of literary research in Tang Dynasty" and "the important town of literary criticism".

Third,? Preparation of specialized courses

6 16 literary foundation (including literary theory and Chinese and foreign literary history)?

1. History of ancient Chinese literature (three volumes).

2. The History of Modern Literature in China (19 15-20 18) (I and II), edited by Zhu Donglin, Higher Education Press, 2020.

3. Literary Theory and Classic Reading, edited by Gu Pengfei, Higher Education Press.

809 Comprehensive One (including comparative literature and world literature, modern and contemporary literature in China, and literary theory)?

1. History of Foreign Literature (Volume I and II), edited by Zheng Kelu, Higher Education Press.

2. History of Modern and Contemporary European and American Literature, edited by He Zhongsheng, Fudan University Press.

3. Thirty Years of Modern Literature in China, Qian Liqun, Peking University Publishing House.

4. The History of Contemporary Literature in China, by Hong Zicheng, Peking University Publishing House.

5. A Course of Famous Western Literary Theories, edited by Hu Jingzhi, Peking University Publishing House.

6.? A Course in the History of China's Literary Theory Criticism, by Zhang Shaokang, Peking University Publishing House.

I started reading books in specialized courses in February, but I suggest you read them in a certain order. For example, literature, first look at the History of China Literature, then look at Thirty Years of Modern Literature, and then look at China Contemporary Literature. Don't look at the contemporary before the modern. When reading, I probably sorted out the real questions and marked the repetition rate of the real questions over the years, so that reading can be focused.

The first round: when I read a book for the first time, I read it quickly (I think it was fast enough). I didn't take notes or anything, but I just sketched it in the book. But in fact, I didn't read all the reference books of professional courses until the summer vacation (the end of June) and started to do real questions by taking notes myself. This still depends on everyone's progress. Someone has already started to recite it during the summer vacation. ?

The second round: when reading a book, it is mainly to sort out the mind map. In the second round, I read faster (compared with the first round). The context of literary history is really important. I suggest you make your own mind map, and don't think it is a waste of time. Mind mapping is really useful for reciting later. It doesn't matter even if it's rough. This is your approved outline, but you must do it yourself, either with paper and pen or with mindmanager.

("Thirty Years of Modern Literature" and "Contemporary Literature" sort out the evolution of literature in chronological order, and the big time nodes must be clearly remembered, as well as foreign literature. For example, European and American literature is in chronological order: medieval literature (masterpiece Dante's Divine Comedy)-Renaissance literature (masterpiece Cervantes' Don Quixote). )-Classical literature.

The third round: reading is to combine real questions to do real questions. At this time, you can recite notes properly, understand the evolution of schools, the changes of the same writer in different periods, the characteristics of literary societies and other basic knowledge and remember them properly. Then there is a word, back! But it's definitely not for you to memorize. It will be helpful to try some memory methods. Remember the main points first and then rely on your own knowledge system to improve your back. If you have difficulty reviewing for the postgraduate entrance examination, you may wish to sign up for a remedial class, such as a one-on-one private VIP remedial class for the postgraduate entrance examination. It is highly targeted, the class time can be flexibly negotiated, and you can also answer questions for free after class, which is very helpful for preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination.

Fourth,? English preparation

My English score is actually not very high. You can look at some experience posts with high scores. Of course, my experience can also provide you with a reference.

What I really want to say is, don't hold the mentality of "my English is not good, I can't learn it well, I can't learn it" when reviewing. Many friends around me may not have passed CET-6 smoothly, but their scores in the postgraduate entrance examination for English are not low, so don't deny yourself easily before one thing has no result and you haven't taken action.

Method: My reading method is to brush off the time when there is no card, but I will record the time when I do an article. When I do it, I must read the title first and then the article. After I finish writing an article, I will check the answers first, then look up the new words, extract them, sort out the ideas of the article, and then read the wrong questions and locate the original text. If I still don't understand, I will watch the video explained by Uncle Tang.

The books and classes I used for my postgraduate entrance examination mainly include:

Books: Words: The Logic of Vocabulary by Tang Chi, Little Red Book, and Yellow Book "The Super Reciting Collection of Postgraduate Vocabulary" I have a yellow book to analyze the real words over the years, and I have been reciting this in the second half of the postgraduate entrance examination.

True Title: Reading Logic of Zhang Jian's Yellow Book and Tang Chi.

Translation: On-off Translation of Postgraduate English by Tang Jing.

Composition: Claiborne composition class+printed handouts.

Classes to be listened to: Liu Xiaoyan grammar video, American cultural background in Tang Chi's English for postgraduate entrance examination, Tang Chi's reading methods, Tang Chi's explanation of real reading questions, Liu Xiaoyan's new questions, Tang Jing's explanation of real translation questions, and Shi Leipeng's composition class. ?

Verb (short for verb)? Political preparation

Politics always follows Mr. Xiao, and I bought a full set of Mr. Xiao. Personally, I prefer to listen to Tao Tao's class, but I didn't listen to the basic class and listened to the intensive class twice. It is recommended to do exercises while listening to the class. Don't feel that you haven't learned much and can't do exercises. At first, I felt that I didn't have knowledge and did some wasteful questions, but in the end, I found that I had done a lot more questions, so I naturally remembered them. It is unreliable to fail in the exam.

Books: Xu Tao core exam cases, Xiao Xiurong's excellent lectures, 1000 questions, 8 sprints, 4 sprints, Lu Yufeng's recitation manual, Xiao Xiurong's situation and policies.

Courses: Xu Tao Ma Yuan Intensive Class, Leg Sister Skill Class and Xiao Xiurong Point Class.

Recommendation: I only listened to the Ma Yuan part of teacher Xu Tao's intensive class. Because I am a liberal arts student, I think Mao Zhongte's history outline should be easier to understand. 1000. I was going to brush it twice, but I didn't finish it. After listening to Sister Leg's skill class, I felt quite good, but each teacher's style is different, so you can choose what you like. The recitation manual used in the later period is Sister Leg's, and I personally recommend Sister Leg's recitation.

time management

English words started from last year1February, and after taking the test, they began to take professional courses in February. This is the timeline I recorded myself. In fact, I don't have a clear timetable in February, so I suggest that you still have a big and clear timetable, such as when to start studying politics and when to start taking professional courses. (The following is my own personal timeline)

February-April: Specialized courses are mainly about browsing textbooks and sorting out real questions. The arrangement of real questions runs through the whole preparation process. Be familiar with the characteristics of the questions as much as possible, so as to grasp some key points when reviewing; ?

English is mainly about watching Liu Xiaoyan's grammar videos, and word recitation is also necessary for the whole process. In the later stage, I basically gave up memorizing words, because I felt that the amount of memorization in professional courses was too large, but I reviewed them with word software every day. Personally, I don't think it is necessary to listen to any video lessons about word. Isn't it sweet to spend so much time watching professional courses? Words just need hard work. If you don't have enough words to do real questions, you will collapse. Although my English is not particularly high in the end, I still suggest that you memorize words well and don't always be moved by yourself. Listen to a few video lessons for the whole morning.

May-June: I'm still reading professional books, and I'm starting to brush real questions in English. In May, I did a hand translation, and I translated every English reading by hand. At the beginning, I translated every article manually, which was particularly time-consuming. Basically, every article has to be translated for more than an hour. Later, I accelerated this speed and analyzed the sentence structure, paragraph and paragraph structure, and the overall idea of the article.

July-September: I began to study politics in July. After watching the video of Xu Tao's Ma Yuan Intensive Course, the other three found it easier to understand, so I didn't watch the video. While watching the video, I began to watch Xiao Xiurong's intensive lecture and brushed 1000 questions;

English real questions have always kept a rhythm, reading two articles a day and revising them the next day, so that the real questions can be brushed from May until the end of the summer vacation. ?

The study of specialized courses is mainly to do real questions, sort out literature and history notes and mind maps, and continue to read books of specialized courses. There are really many things you can do in summer vacation, as long as you hurry and improve your efficiency.

September-65438+February: I didn't begin to recite professional courses until I arrived at school in September. The later, the longer it takes to recite, and a clear timetable is needed.

Politics continues to brush 1000 questions. I recommend the skill class of Sister Leg, and the answer method is worth listening to. And Xiao Lao's last problem-solving class. Later, I used Xiao Ba Xiao Si to brush the questions, and there were not many simulation questions. The main problem is that Mr. Xiao played well this year, and my politics is still quite satisfactory.

English is mainly to continue to brush the real questions and start learning other questions except reading. 1 1 month simulates two sets of real questions,1February is mainly to sort out the composition topics and recite the composition.

note:

1. If you want to take the modern and contemporary exams, no matter which school you take, you should know more about the works, and you should not swallow the dates and be opportunistic. In a few words, you will be exposed in front of these big cows!

2, the mentality must be stable, don't stage fright, even if you really encounter problems that you can't, don't worry, calm down for me at the first time. To be honest with the teacher, I may not understand this question, but I know there are several points that are related. I'll look at it carefully after I go down.

Mentality problem

We must adjust our mentality in the exam, not too relaxed, but not too nervous. Only when you are in a good state can you feel the answer and remember things vividly. There is also a problem of learning efficiency. In fact, my learning efficiency is also very worrying, because classical Chinese is meaningless in modern times, so self-control is particularly important, especially for students who can't prepare for the exam at school this year, and there is no such atmosphere. Although I have tried to clock in and turn off my mobile phone, I still have to be self-disciplined, play less games and play less mobile phones. It's too late. You can give yourself some blank relaxation time every week. After all, time is still in the storage period, so don't push it too hard and too weak later. Although the road is bumpy, these are my humble opinions. I hope to give some encouragement to the waves behind. I must refuel. It is not too late. You did it, and tomorrow you will thank yourself for seizing the opportunity. That's it, gentlemen.

Write at the end:

But knowing and doing are one, don't ask about the future, settle yourself down and start planning for yourself seriously! Please believe in yourself, because the only person who can help you in the examination room is yourself! I sincerely wish my schoolmates a bright future!
