Introduction to Renmin Road

Renmin South Road runs from south to north, connecting Jiangxi Road, Changdi Avenue, Xidi Second Road, Renji West Road, Shisanhang Road, Yide Road, Heping East Road, Zhuangyuanfang, and Dade Road, Shangjiudong Road. It is connected to Renmin Middle Road in the north. Along Jiangxi Road and Changdi Avenue from east to west: adjacent to Jiefang South Road in the east, there are Children's Library, Aiqun Building, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical College, East Asia Hotel, and the Second Affiliated People's Hospital of Sun Yat-sen Medical University, etc. To the west of Renmin Road are Tower Photo Studio, Nanfang Building, Guangdong Customs Administration, and Guangzhou Old Post Office. The area around Xidi Second Avenue (including Nanfang Building) is currently home to the wholesale of electronics and peripheral products, such as Wenyuan Market, New Asia Electronics Market, etc. There is also a cultural park on Xidi Second Avenue. Yide Road's fish and seafood dry goods wholesale market, boutique market, toy market, Chinese New Year couplets, red packets and other useful clothing wholesale market, Zhuangyuanfang is a good place for Nianshang students to go shopping, Dade Road I won’t talk much about the hardware wholesale market, Shangxiajiu. In the past, this area can be said to be the financial center of Guangzhou. Due to the eastward shift of the city's development and the influence of the Renmin South Road Viaduct, Guangzhou's financial center transitioned to Huanshi Road and the current Tianhe Sports Center and Zhujiang New Town.
