Mengzi Lake Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic spot, located at the junction of Heilihe Town and Dianzi Town, Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, 70km away from Tianyi Town, where Ningcheng County Government is located, 20km away from Chifeng 120km, and 0/80km away from Chengde/kloc-0. The five vigorous characters of "Dahushi Reservoir" written by the famous calligrapher Li Guimin on the dam are particularly conspicuous. There are two 172 stone steps on the outer layer of the levee, which can reach the dam top from the dam bottom respectively. The elevation of the dam crest is 727.6m, the dam height is 42. 1 m, the dam crest is 529m long and 5m wide, and the dam bottom is 218.13m wide. A wave wall with a height of1.2m is built on the dam crest. Standing on the levee, you can see the misty water. The library is dotted with fishing sails, yachts are flying, tourists are laughing, and geese are playing. Tourists on the shore either swim and fish or pick up clams, just like a picture of a southern water town. There are 6000 mu of fish noodles in the reservoir area, rich in silver carp and carp, especially silver carp, the largest of which can reach more than 30 kilograms. The maximum discharge of the two spillway tunnels of the reservoir can reach more than 500 cubic meters per second. The installed capacity of hydropower station is 1500 kW, and the total annual power generation can reach 5 million kwh.

Ningcheng Tianyu Tourism Development Co., Ltd. plans to invest 1 more than 100 million yuan to build Mengzi Lake tourist scenic spot. The project plans to carry out 26 projects in 4 districts. The first phase of the project plans to invest 60 million yuan, taking the existing water resources as the advantage, and open up many scenic spots such as tourist resort center service area, water sightseeing area, Sun Island leisure resort, swimming pool, Diaoyutai, water park, water sightseeing and Basha amusement area.

Mengzi Lake Scenic Area is located in the west of Ningcheng County, 25 kilometers downstream of Daoxugou Scenic Area, and is famous for its picturesque peaks and beautiful waters. The planned area of the scenic spot is 702 hectares, with Dahushi Reservoir as the center. There is a one-kilometer long river dam between the two mountains, and the 172 steps paved with white stones at both ends of the dam can be climbed by tourists.
