Scholars strengthen self-cultivation, concentrate on reading, and only seek to improve themselves. Without asking others to know, others can't know. Such figures happen from time to time, and I often regret that their deeds have not been circulated. Recently, four things were recorded in Lee Sang Woo Dream Biography, so I respectfully copied them down.

1. People from Cixi, Jiang despised Wang Anshi's knowledge during the Xuanhe period, did not take part in the imperial examinations, studied classics behind closed doors, and did not associate with others casually. Gao Yichong lives in Mingzhou City and visits his home four or five times a year. When Jiang Wen learned that Gao Shou had arrived, he would rush out to meet him. His neighbors sometimes feed him with meagre things, and his family often have a meal at home. He would rather starve with his wife than beg others at last. In the cold weather in the middle of winter, people wear fur as thin as paper. When guests visit, they are happy to welcome them. Observing his face and listening to his comments make people respect him. Xie Sheng, the county commandant, gave him a suit and said, "Mr. Wang has never asked me for anything, but I want to show my respect. It doesn't hurt to accept it. " Zhou smiled and replied: "A dress is just like 10,000 bells. Accept it for no reason, that is, you can't tell the etiquette! " I finally refused.

These four gentlemen really should be written into the history books.
