Baisha Longmu Temple is located in the east of Guiding Mountain in the western suburb of Zhaoqing City, facing the white sand beach on the north bank of Xijiang River, so it was named Baisha Longmu Temple. In November 1984, Zhaoqing Municipal Government announced Baisha Longmu Temple as a key cultural relic protection unit in Zhaoqing City. Baisha Longmu Temple was built in the reign of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty (1265-1274).
