Overview of Mal

In the impression of ordinary people, Qiang people should be in Gansu. Because China people wrote in Wang Zhihuan's "Liangzhou Ci", which was familiar to them since childhood: "Why should the Qiang flute complain about the willow? The spring breeze is only Yumenguan." But in fact, today's Qiang people are not in Gansu, but live in the upper reaches of Minjiang River in northwest Sichuan. By 20 13, there were more than 300,000 Qiang people in China, mainly distributed in Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, Maoxian County, Wenchuan County, Lixian County, Heishui County and Songpan County, Aba Prefecture. Among them, Beichuan Qiang population is about 9 1000, Maoxian Qiang population is about 96,000, and the combined population of the two counties accounts for about 60% of the national Qiang population.

The word "Qiang" is interpreted as a shepherd in China literature, so the font changes from sheep to man. Sheep are regarded as sacred by Qiang people.

Ermayina ancient road is said to be the migration road of Qiang people.
