At the press conference on epidemic prevention and control in Shanghai this afternoon (26th), Lai Xiaoyi, the second inspector of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, introduced that according to the pilot experience of Jinshan, Fengxian and Chongming districts and the opinions of relevant departments and experts, combined with the current situation of epidemic prevention and control in Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal Office of Prevention and Control decided that from June 29th, the canteens will be opened in the streets, towns and villages in Shanghai that have no medium-risk areas and no social epidemic in the past week. The specific area for restoring canteen meals shall be determined by the district governments after comprehensive assessment of epidemic prevention and control.

From now on (September 7), the restaurant will resume business in an orderly manner.

After the canteen resumes eating, all catering business units should strictly scan the code to check the negative proof of nucleic acid, and non-diners should take measures to prevent and control the epidemic, such as masks and gathering. The business premises shall make an appointment to limit the flow, reduce the queuing time and prevent people from gathering. After the business is over, arrange special personnel to disinfect the business premises comprehensively every day, so as to clean up the garbage every day and keep the business premises clean and tidy.

Industry supervision departments will supervise and inspect the implementation of normalized epidemic prevention and control measures by catering enterprises, and severely punish those who fail to implement prevention and control measures in accordance with relevant regulations.
