Four metaphors of holding the heart of a big handprint

The ode to Salo River sums up the essence of the big handprint with the phrase "Normal mind is Tao", which can be used as a reference for Mazu's "Normal mind is Tao". Gomboba explained the cloud "normal mind": "normal mind is self-cultivation, which means that normal mind will naturally settle down. If it breaks down in another brain, it is not called a normal brain. Therefore, there is no permission to repair dust in the territory, and the heart is not scattered for a moment. A calm and unfocused mind is also called a natural mind. Therefore, as long as the self-evidence is not scattered, the rest is still practicing. " The so-called "self-witness" in Yin Da's lecture notes refers to what you see clearly. As long as this nature is not confused, the ups and downs of speech acts and delusions will become the wonderful use of Bodhi, and there is no need to give up the intention of treatment. This is what the so-called "one truth is true, everything is at ease" in the altar sutra means. Big handprints have three phases, five metaphors and three metaphors. These three aspects are equality, stretching and relaxation. Equality means doing nothing, stretching means allowing tolerance without rectification, and relaxation means having no function. Yu Yun said:' mountains and rivers are as vast as the sky, mindfulness is as ubiquitous as the earth, and the heart is as motionless as a mountain king, which proves that it is like a candle and a crystal.' There is another cloud:' If the heart is incomplete, it will be self-evident, and if the water does not move, it will be self-evident.' With the process of revision, four more metaphors have been added:

(1) If a Brahmin twists a thread, the tightness is appropriate: Prajna Paramita says,' When the initial repair stops, it will be tightened; When it is too tight, relax; If you tighten it, it will be loose. If you tighten it again, you can read it wisely. "Tightness means refreshing and settling in a bright body.

(2) The firewood is broken, which means that you have thought about it. Don't give up just because you have it. Don't keep your body empty when you think. You should be able to observe what you see, give up at both ends and live in your body with peace of mind. Then you will naturally get rid of your troubles. "Zhu Jian's Big Handprint" said:' It means to do all your delusions and troubles, without interruption, without letting it be the master, it will appear as soon as it appears, leaving nothing. However, at the moment of birth, we should know it immediately, so that we can live in the purity of nature without covering it up. Emptiness is obvious. Therefore, all acts against the environment can be used as a way to help the Tao, so as to understand the delusional ego, that is, to achieve liberation, stability and cure. The name Vajrayana practice is heartless. "

(3) For example, when a baby looks at a Buddhist temple, it means that he will increase his strength, let go of the six doors, and let the six senses appear without disguise, but he can't stand love and hate, can't stand holding on to it, and is not fascinated by love, as the Tanjing says.

(4) After getting into the thorn, I have been practicing for a long time, and my mind is firm. Even if you still have delusions, when you get up, the idea of self-liberation will arise, such as painting in the water and disappearing with the painting. This is not false in function, and you can settle down in a bright body without being disturbed by delusions. Just like an elephant, because of its thick skin, it will randomly enter the thorns and will not be stabbed.

Although you can study hard in secular affairs and daily life and never leave this world, novice practitioners are weak in determining wisdom, so it is difficult to keep their bodies clean. It is advisable to specialize for a period of time behind closed doors and cultivate wisdom. "Three Essentials of Vertebral Strike" said:' However, before it becomes powerful, you must be diligent in giving up, and you must close the door.' Tibetan handprint walkers often practice hard all year round behind closed doors.

The trip of the big handprint is slightly equivalent to the' going in' of Dharma Zen, that is, practicing while using it. This is called inaction. Salo River sings:' All kinds of actions have no foundation, like madness and uncertainty, and inaction is like children.' Inaction refers to a moment of self-awareness without chaos, starting from the body, being transported, both sad and empty, practicing six degrees with the fate, and transforming all beings. In particular, the big handprint is based on the secret of supreme yoga. There are 21 blank lines in the theory of play, five blank lines in the theory of no play and three blank lines in the theory of no play, all of which are 29. These actions focus on actively honing your mind in adversity, releasing troublesome habits and getting rid of mediocrity. For example, Pu Xian's Walker said that he left his delusions behind and melted them into the body of the law without any treatment, just like a hot stone turned into water after falling snow, with no intention of correcting or covering up pretense. It is also a secret trip, and pedestrians are forbidden. It means building a double lane with your mother's handprint in a secluded place, or walking through villages and towns and enduring ridicule. He also gathered all his disciples and said that he would go into the bustling sea to blend in with the light, engage in humble undertakings, and endure the ridicule and abuse of the world, thinking that cultivation would help fate. To go crazy or tremble is to release the seeds of habit in Tibetan knowledge at will, walk like crazy without hindrance, and at the same time be conscious and not chaotic in an instant. He is also superior to the Imperial Walker, saying that he takes the initiative to go against the sky as the way to cleanse ignorance. In the past, there were more practitioners who printed handprints than those who practiced at the top of the mountain, in Tuolin, under a single tree, in the tomb and at four intersections. They forbade speaking and begging, and walked in Buddhism. Monks, monks, monks, monks, monks, monks, monks, monks, monks, and monks. Now, it seems that this behavior of ancient practitioners should only adopt the spirit of inaction and spiritual practice against fate, and should not be rigidly imitated.

With regard to the practice of big handprints, the Indian and Tibetan teachers summed up many secrets according to their own practice experience. For example, Kamboba's "Harmony of All Beings" means that the intimate body is the body of all beings, the heart is used by the dharma body, and the phase is the light of the dharma body. As the saying goes, "the mind enforces the law, the beginning is born, and the teacher is integrated, so it is said that all beings are born together." (Mirror History of Religious Schools) Five Ways to Stop Gombo (1143 ~1217, supporting the promoters of Gombo)

(1) First, practice bodhicitta,

(2) We should regard ourselves as gods,

(3) You should practice the respect of the guru,

(4) There is no right or wrong point of view.

(5) Make a vow and return it.

There is a saying:' the big handprint method is like a lion, and there are no five rules and no eyes.' The six-level method (six-way method of holding the Tao) of the founder of the mountain (11211) was advocated by Baga Jia: (1) holding the Tao separately, which means knowing the body and being distracted. (2) Holding worries as the Tao means thinking about worries and increasing worries, that is, knowing that one's body and mind are empty, and turning worries into bodhi without breaking; (3) Holding ghosts and gods as the Tao means that ghosts and gods are afraid of the situation without breaking or turning, which is regarded as a more horrible scene, that is, when the terror cognition is empty, they clearly live in tolerance; (4) Taking suffering as the Tao means that the concept of suffering is empty, and all beings are in great sorrow and make a wish to help each other; (5) Adhering to the principle of disease means that the concept of being able to suffer from disease is empty and the disease is turned into bodhi; (6) Adhere to the principle of death, that is, preview the pain and illusion at the end of life at ordinary times, know it truthfully, so that you can't afford to be frightened and heartbroken, and let mother and son meet in the light. The big handprint system summarizes all kinds of deviations, deviance and treatment methods in the practice process, which is precious to practitioners.

The revision of the big handprint, like Zen Buddhism, has no hierarchy. He said to Cai Bayun,' The big handprint is unique, and stupidity is authentic, which is convenient for us to say that teaching others is true.' Although he sang an epiphany in theory, he established a strict order of revision in affairs. Gamboba's "Four Finger-print-guided Ontological Yoga" divides the steps of repairing the fruit after seeing the body into four kinds of yoga: single-minded, divorced from drama, blind practice and non-practice. Each kind of yoga is divided into three categories, and there are clear standards for measuring the twelve levels and the realm of each level.

(1) Sub-specialized Yoga: After seeing it, fix it according to what you see, and gradually settle down from the initial difficulties, live in an ethereal and happy feeling, and get physical and mental peace. Now you can free yourself from the realm of six dusts, and your heart will settle down. Although I haven't lost my figure, I still have a little persistence. There are fluctuations in the alignment. The dream is obviously clear, but there are still troubles in the dream. It is rare to stay awake and make decisions by yourself.

(2) Pure Chinese Yoga: Sometimes I fall into meditation unintentionally, but it is natural, and I live in a clean body with few delusions. Later, I realized that I was happy, too. I felt relaxed and clear now, and I was endless. But sometimes I still practice the dharma, and when I get up, I consciously know that I can get rid of it in silence and feel the reality in my dreams.

(3) Top grade and exclusive yoga: Stay in meditation, like day and night, live in the open body, like a sea without waves. All delusions are dissolved in the light, and then the environment is stable, so you can keep an open body for a long time in your dreams.

(4) Inferior yoga: the theory of drama, such as reaching the body of the mind, is different from life and death, and has not yet detached from the air, settled, felt and accepted, especially slightly detached. In the later understanding, I didn't insist on fashion, and love and hate were still reversed in my sleep.

(5) China products are divorced from drama yoga: empty, quiet and pure, but under obvious circumstances, I still hope to fear.

(6) Top-grade yoga: breaking the attachment to all reincarnation nirvana methods, leaving hope to fear, and integrating the bright and the obvious, but there are still interruptions when you are not proficient in learning, and you have not reached the realm of natural luck. I still have a mystery in my dream.

(7) Low quality yoga: Falmin turned a blind eye to all internal and external situations, but still insisted on all methods.

(8) Blind yoga made in China: I am determined to be blind, incompetent, different from inside and outside, with a different state of mind, wisdom ahead, and little knowledge and dreams.

(9) Top-grade yoga: constant in the morning and evening, constant in learning, and equal in all methods. Although it is still a subtle dream without self-nature, it is not confusing.

(10) Inferior Yoga: You don't need to do anything, everything you show is nothing more than a clear body. However, some fashions are slightly different from magic.

(1 1) Medium-quality yoga without yoga: If you are in an illusion, you will live day and night without yoga.

(12) Top-grade Yoga: After that, it can be seen that all subtle knowledge is transformed into wisdom, mother and child meet in the light, and the dharma is exhausted, and the three-body is completed.

Twelve kinds of yoga products have six inspection standards:

(1) See the body but not the body?

(2) Is the force round?

(3) Is it obvious in delusion?

(4) Have you achieved any merits?

(5) The seeds of the seeder (repairing others) were not sown?

(6) Does this letter hang above the vulgar truth? Each standard has its own strict perception standard and evidence standard, which is very convenient for scholars to identify themselves.

Yoga 12 kinds, with the second place to prove the fruits of practice. Generally speaking, three kinds of single-minded yoga belong to the victory (esophagus, the way to add Tao), the second one sees Tao from playing yoga, and the first one is happy when entering bodhisattva. The middle is two to five places away from drama yoga, the upper is six places away from drama yoga, the lower is seven places, the middle is eight places, the upper is nine places, and the second is nothing. It is the most rewarding place for big handprints. However, it is impossible to get this fruit without the fruit to prove it. As Salokh said:' There is no difference between the body and the body. This plan is intended to be clean in the legal world and is called King Kong.'

If a yogi is reasonable, he will not practice yoga, and then it is the main purpose of fingerprints. This book is not written and gradual, but it is the most profitable. Guru Gongga advocated that taking root should start with yoga without practice, and it is convenient to learn yoga without a license and go straight to Tathagata. In his "A Straight Talk on the Ganges Thumbprint", he wrote,' I wish you four kinds of yoga with Thumbprint, which are shown to the specialized students in order, and it is convenient to know that the four kinds of yoga are not the real place of Thumbprint.' As for the mantra, practicing enlightenment is a convenient method in the middle and lower roots, not the original intention of India's Ming handprint.

Judging from the original intention of the big handprint, it can be said that the Zen mind method is the same. However, in the process of spreading in India and Tibet, a unique clan style was formed by combining the supreme secret method which is more convenient to practice spells and clear the pulse than Zen. The "Big Handprint" of Martial Arts in Novels

In the new martial arts, there are often martial arts with "big handprints". The big handprint is called "Maha Maha" in Sanskrit, which translates as "Big Seal", which is equivalent to the "Buddha's Heart Seal" in Han Buddhism. Seal is seal, and "seal" refers to the practice or spiritual transmission confirmed by Buddha. The big handprint is the essence of the Kagyu Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and it is also spread by the Sakya Sect and the Gelug Sect.

There are three methods of big handprint: one is the real big handprint. By studying Buddhist classics or accepting teachers' instruction, we can understand the principle of "truth", practice Zen according to our own understanding, and adjust our mentality to make it correspond to the truth; Second, the empty music handprint. It belongs to the supreme yoga method, which requires initiation, Aquarius practice, Buddha recitation, clumsy fire or double luck, and gradually achieves a feeling of meditation that is exhausted, empty and relaxed; Third, bright fingerprints. This method mainly relies on the blessing of the guru to gain insight. This kind of big handprint is the "best telepathy" of the big handprint method. It is not necessary to practice Qigong, but practitioners must have first-class quality and meet first-class teachers.
