Jieyang zifeng temple

The current abbot of Zifeng Temple is Master Yao Jue, 52, from Jieyang, Guangdong. 65438-0988 became a monk, studied under Master Guangde, and concurrently served as the executive director of Jieyang Buddhist Association in Guangdong Province.

Around the ancient Zifeng Temple, there are beautiful mountains and rivers in Zhong Ling. Among the famous mountains are the Golden Bell with Lion's Ear, Jade Shrimp Cave, Jinshan Ding, Winging Phoenix, Carp Dou Er Snake, Niutou Mountain, Pig Leg Mountain, Donggua Mountain and Ancient Stone Cage. All the scenic spots are vivid and lifelike. In particular, the lying lion in the location of the ancient temple holds a sword, and its lion head, waist and tail really have their own shape and spirit. Therefore, during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, Cai Shan, the magistrate of Jieyang County, saw that Zifeng Temple was surrounded by green hills and trees, towering ancient trees and quiet bamboo forests. Whenever the morning dawns, the red sun is full of waves, which is beautiful, like entering a fairyland and dreaming, so he listed it as one of the eight scenic spots in Jieyang and named it "Zifeng Xiao Chun". After more than 260 years, until the fifth year of Chongzhen, this scene was replaced by the scene of "Mozi Chun Qing" in Xinmin Mozi Mountain, and Chen was designated as the magistrate of a county.
