Design of Conrad Beijing Hotel

In order to achieve special effects, Ma designed a shell inspired by nerve tissue structure, which wrapped a 29-story building with floor-to-ceiling windows. Irregular holes extend all the way up from the foundation and converge to the thin edge of the wedge-shaped building. Inside the building, the dark marble lobby designed by Singapore design works is dotted with many artworks: the 9.9-meter-high glass tile installation of koi fish Fish Pond by Australian artist Jane Cowie and the exquisite etched works depicting multiple scenes in the history of China Merchants Group 14 1 year are welcomed by the guests. Cowie also wrote the abstract sculpture like a spider's web in the lobby and 999 bronze art dragons on the wall behind the front desk.

In the chapter restaurant designed by Spin Studio in Tokyo, an iron spiral staircase leads to the middle mezzanine, and the middle is decorated with bookshelves full of books. (Mainly used for decoration, but guests will be invited to go upstairs to find out. ) The light shines through the white perforated screen on the French window. To remind you that you are still in China, the chocolate exhibition area is decorated with a small red square towel.

At the same time, the elegant and subtle two-story Chinese restaurant "Lu Yu" designed by LTW has not fallen into too obvious Chinese style: a wall next to the entrance is neatly placed with some abacus, and the access to the upstairs is decorated with light-colored celadon tiles.
