Daimei Mountain Scenic Area is located in the transitional zone between Qinling Mountain and Taihang Mountain, in the north of Xin 'an County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, on the south bank of Xiaolangdi Reservoir, with a planned area of about 75 square kilometers.

The geological relics in Daimei Mountain Scenic Area, such as Hongyan Valley, cross bedding, ripple deposits, muddy fault structures, collapsed landforms and Bishuifjord, reflect the changes of North China landmass during 8000-654.38+0.2 billion years, and reproduce the spectacular scenes of ancient tides, landslides and ground fissures, which have high research value and ornamental value.

It is bordered by the Yellow River in Wan Li in the north, Yuanqu in Shanxi in the west, Jianshui and Jingzi in Jinling in the west, and the peaks in Nanqunling overlook the mountain. Elevation of main peak1346.6m.
