Only to Kangding? The road from Chengdu/Chongqing to xinduqiao is not bad (relative to the west of xinduqiao). If you take Erlangshan Tunnel from Ya 'an Expressway, the road from Tian Quan is not very good. Be careful. If you go to Moxi from Shimian Expressway, the road is not very good (I heard so). There is no problem with the road from Moxi to Kangding, and the time of the two routes is basically the same. But parking will be very troublesome when we get to Kangding. There are too many people and cars now (at least in August, I wonder if it will be better after the summer vacation). Don't worry, I've been there four times and I haven't seen them.

As for scenic spots, the main scenic spots in Luding, Kangding include Hailuogou Glacier Scenic Area, Yajiage Hongshitan, Mugecuo, Paoma Mountain, Tagong Grassland and Luding Bridge. Xinduqiao may not be the best season for photography at present. Personally, I feel that these scenic spots are worth visiting, and the key depends on your time. If you drive for 4-5 days, the trip will be tense. It takes about 5-6 hours from Chengdu to Hailuogou, and it is basically a whole day from Chongqing. The trip on the first floor is also good. If you want to play more scenic spots, it is suggested that you can arrange it like this:

D 1: Chongqing-Hailuogou (set out as soon as possible and try to live directly in Camp 2. Hot springs are nice. If you want to gamble in Rizhao Jinshan, you will live in Camp 3, and the conditions are even worse; Eco-car system is implemented in the scenic spot, last shift 18:30).

D2: In the morning, Hailuogou Glacier (forget Yanzigou, etc. ), after lunch (Mulinsen Hotel), go to Kangding via Yajiageng Hongshitan (Yumo Road), and then go to Happy Valley after check-in (about 1 hour).

D3: Kangding-Zheduo Mountain-Airport Direction-Tagong Grassland-xinduqiao-Kangding.

D4: Kangding-Mugecuo-Luding Bridge-Chengdu

D5: Chengdu-Chongqing

Kangding is about 2400 above sea level, which is generally no problem. Hailuogou (glacier), Yajiageng, Tagong, Mugecuo and other places are around 3500-3800, and there will be some altitude sickness. But at present, there is no big problem in this season. As long as there is no strenuous activity, it is recommended to start eating rhodiola now just in case. Pay attention to take more clothes, it's getting cold now.

In terms of accommodation, the better hotels in Kangding include Love Song Hotel, Gesar Hotel and Ramser Linka. The parking lots in Kangding Hotel and Linka, Ramser are relatively large and convenient.

Strictly speaking, the east of Zheduo Mountain is not a real Tibetan area, and there is nothing particularly noteworthy.
