Legal analysis: under the age of 18, you can book a hotel with your ID card. There are no laws and regulations in China that prohibit minors under the age of 18 from staying in hotels. As long as you show your ID card and other valid documents when you check into the hotel, you can do it without violating other regulations of the hotel industry.

Legal basis: Article 7 of "China Tourist Hotel Industry Code" should require guests to show valid certificates when going through the check-in procedures, and truthfully register in accordance with relevant state regulations.

"China Tourism Hotel Industry Standard" Article 8 Hotels may not be accepted under the following circumstances:

(1) Those who enter the store with items that endanger the hotel's safety;

(2) engaging in illegal activities;

(3) those who affect the image of the hotel;

(4) Being unable to pay or having a record of evading foreign exchange;

(5) The hotel is full;

(6) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
