From April 1, the quarantine period for entering Thailand was shortened to 10 days.

From 202 1 April1day, there are new regulations for entering Thailand. Except for eleven countries, most tourists entering Thailand will limit the quarantine period to 10 day to ensure the safety and stability of local epidemic prevention and control.

On March 3, 2002 1 day, the Consulate General of Thailand in Kunming issued a circular "Isolation Measures for Traveling to Thailand from April to March 3, 20021year". Details are shown in the following figure:

At present, the Thai cabinet and the epidemic management center have agreed to establish the country. Visitors who have been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine only need to be quarantined in the hotel for 7 days, but they also need to strictly abide by the epidemic prevention measures of the Ministry of Health.

According to the government's policy, the first phase (April1-June 30th) will mainly be opened in Phuket, Krabi, Panya, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and other provinces and regions.

Although vaccinated tourists only need to be isolated for 7 days, the survey found that vaccinated tourists still hope to come to Thailand without isolation at all, so it is expected that there will not be too many foreign tourists in the first phase.

There will be a Thai Airways flight from Frankfurt to Phuket (and then to Bangkok) on April 3rd. At that time, 12 tourists will enter the country from Phuket Airport. This policy has only just begun to be implemented. Although there are not many tourists, it is a good vision to revitalize the tourism economy, because the potential of inbound tourists is huge.

According to a local tourist in Phuket, although the quarantine period has been shortened to 7 days, it still cannot meet the needs of tourists, because the vaccinated inbound tourists do not need quarantine.

The current policy is not helpful to the tourism industry, but a market test. By July 1, when Phuket is open to tourists who do not need isolation, it is estimated that more than 70% of Phuket people should have been vaccinated.

In addition, on March 30th, Director CDC Opa revealed that from April 1 day, the quarantine period for people entering Thailand from various countries was shortened to 14 days, but people (regardless of nationality) entering from South African countries where the mutated virus was found still need to be quarantined for 14 days.
