Spotlight installation method

Before installing the spotlights, we prepare the light stands and lamps for the spotlights, and then mark the corresponding height marks on the poles, and place the heavier ones. The light stands and lamps are first hung on the poles. After adjusting the angle of the spotlight, fix the light frame.

The next step is to connect the down conductor, fix the insulator on the spotlight frame, tie one end of the wire to the insulator, and connect the other end to the fuse and lamp holder wire. Finally, wrap the connection with rubber cloth and black tape, and then tighten the other line of the wire so that the trunk line of the lamp can be connected at the back.

It should be noted that when installing spotlights, keep their spacing consistent and the illumination angle consistent to give people a good visual experience.

When installing spotlights, remember to install a fuse. The fuse line should be connected to the center of the lamp holder.

Various lines and light trunk lines should be kept at a distance of 400 mm to 600 mm from the center of the pole, and both sides should be consistent. Joints longer than 4 meters should have a reinforced mounting point. A plastic tube should be placed where the wires enter and exit the lamp stand, and a waterproof bend should be added if possible.

After the spotlights are installed, test them and make timely adjustments if there are any errors.

Spotlight installation location

1. Bedroom spotlights. Spotlights are installed above the bedside background wall to emphasize and highlight, provide convenience for reading before bed, and create a warm and comfortable sleeping atmosphere.

2. Living room spotlights. Spotlights in the living room are usually set along the edge of the ceiling to increase the brightness of the living room space and make the indoor lighting more layered.

3. Corridor spotlights. It is a wise move to use spotlights in the corridor, because the space is small and using the main light source is wasteful. Spotlights save electricity, and the hazy atmosphere created by the spotlights is difficult to match with the main light source.

Spotlight installation dimensions

The installation of spotlights should be selected according to the size of the home. If the home is large, choosing small spotlights will make the home look stingy and not elegant enough; if the home is small, choosing larger spotlights will make the home look very crowded. If your home is small, you can choose spotlights with a diameter of about 68 mm and a lamp cup of 35 mm. For larger homes, you can choose spotlights with a diameter of 79 mm and a lamp cup of 50 mm. If you really don’t understand, you can consult the service staff when buying lights.
