2. Ulanmutu Mountain Scenic Area

Introduction

National AA-level tourist scenic spot. Located in Bajiazi Township, Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Liaoning Province. It is 35 kilometers away from Fuxin City and 200 kilometers away from the provincial capital Shenyang. It is a tourist attraction integrating biological scientific research, tourism, leisure and entertainment. Founded in 2000, it was originally named Alimatu Mountain, which means "Pear Mountain" in Mongolian. It was later renamed Ulanmutu Mountain, which means "Mangrove Mountain" in Mongolian. With a total area of ??30.8 square kilometers, it is part of the Nuruerhu Mountains. The main peak is 831.4 meters above sea level, making it the highest peak in Fuxin.
