What temples are there in Chiang Rai, Thailand? Traffic during the opening hours of Chiang Rai Temple in Thailand

Have you ever seen a temple in China? Are you interested in some foreign temples? Today, Bian Xiao will introduce you to three temples in Chiang Rai. These three temples still have their own merits. Let's go and have a look with Bian Xiao.

Frye, the northernmost capital of Thailand, has almost all the customs in northern Thailand. The mountains at the eastern end are suitable for hiking in the forest. The scenery of the Mekong River flood plain in the northeast lowlands is the same as that in the Ethan area in the south. The population of 70,000 constitutes the unique scenery here, and it also has countless charming natural scenery. The mountains, hot springs and temples in the mansion have attracted countless tourists.

Where is Chiang Rai?

Without any evidence, I drew the boundary between the Chiang Rai government and today's Three Heroes Temple. Chiang Rai is located in the north of Chiang Mai, about 190 km away from the small town of Chiang Mai, and the one-way driving time is about 2.5 hours. Excellent geographical location and high-quality tourism resources have brought endless wealth to Chiang Rai's tourism industry.

Tips:

Note that the yellow line in the picture is the road from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. Because it is located in the mountainous area, there are many twists and turns in the mountain road, so you need to bring your own things to prevent carsickness. The local green grass cream is a good refreshing product.

1. Recommended method

The safest and most cost-effective choice to Chiang Rai is to take a one-day tour of Chiang Rai organized by the local government. This kind of trip is most suitable for ordinary tourists. Itinerary arrangement, including distance, meals and scenic spots, is the most common way to travel in Chiang Rai.

2. Reference method

With the rise of tourism, chartered services and public transportation in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai have gradually expanded. To go to Chiang Rai, you can take tuktuk or a double bus to the arcade bus station outside the ancient city (one of the three long-distance bus stations in Chiang Mai, about 3 kilometers northeast of the old city, near the intersection of 1 18 expressway, not far from the night market). There is a daily round trip between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, and the fare is about 140~280 baht according to the level.

Tips:

Arcade bus stop (also known as Chiang Mai bus stop/arcade bus stop)

Address of Aka Bus Station in Chiang Mai: At the end of the eastern end of KaewNawarat Road, about 3km northeast of the old city, near the intersection of 1 18 expressway. (The famous NCA in Chiang Mai is at the arcade station)

Buses go to Bangkok and the most distant cities, such as Dacheng, Bangkok, Chiang Rai and Sukhothai. Everyone needs to go to this station.

Qingzhitong (not recommended)

Flying to Chiang Rai is also a feasible way. ChiangRaiInternationalAirport is located about 8 kilometers north of Chiang Rai, and it takes about 200 baht to get to the city by taxi from the airport.

Tips:

At present, only Kunming flies directly to Chiang Rai International Airport, and other domestic routes are connected with Bangkok, which takes a long time and is relatively expensive to fly directly to Chiang Mai.

: Chiang Rai Special Temple

Brief introduction of white temple.

White Temple is one of the most popular and peculiar scenic spots in Chiang Rai, because it is completely white, so it is often called "White Temple". The White Temple is different from most temples in Thailand. This temple was built by famous Thai architects and artists. The whole building consists of white buildings and glass sequins. Cross the bridge and pond, walk past the statue symbolizing desire, and you can enter the temple. The artists added many patterns symbolizing the cycle of life and death. There are also many grotesque buildings, pure gold toilets, wishing pools, and works of art such as Elvis Presley and Superman.

Transportation: Take a bus from Chiang Rai Central Bus Station. The bus is dilapidated, about 20-40 baht per person. You can also charter a car from Chiang Mai, and consult the local travel agency or hotel front desk for details.

Opening hours: 9:00- 12:00,13: 00-17: 00 (1-1Monday to Sunday).

2. Black Temple Play Raiders

The unique house of the Black Temple was built by Thai national artists, and the decoration inside was mostly animal fur and bones. In the middle of the black temple is a black cave building shaped like a temple, which has a long wooden dining table and a chair with antlers. The architectural style is dominated by northern Thai art, but surrealism exhibits are more exploratory. There are more than a dozen buildings decorated with horns scattered around the Black Temple. All the buildings and exhibits are based on black, which is completely different from the white temple and shows the world difference between heaven and hell.

Time reference: 1-3 hours

3. Blue Temple Play Raiders

Leland Temple was built by a new Thai artist. The whole temple is dominated by blue, with blue and gold as the main colors. This temple was donated by local residents. Most of the darker peripheral colors are traditional Thai monsters with strange shapes. In addition, the designer decorated the surroundings with crystal balls, which looked solemn and quiet. There is a white sitting Buddha in the main hall, and the blue in the shop is slightly lighter, which is in contrast with the murals, showing the vast compassion of Buddhism.
