How high is Jiu Feng Mountain in Nanping?

Jiu Feng is 386 meters above sea level.

Located in the south of Nanping City, Fujian Province, Jiufeng Mountain is the first mountain at the starting point of Minjiang River, facing the urban area across Xixi River. Jiu Feng is named because it overlaps with the peaks around the city. The mountain environment is quiet and the trees are lush. Nanping has eight ancient landscapes such as "Jiu Feng Moon" and "Ape Cave Autumn Wind". Zhu Zeng, a famous scholar in Song Dynasty, gave lectures here and praised the scenery of Jiu Feng as "Nine Furong" and "Nine Cuiping".

Chen Youliang's tomb still exists at the end of Yuan Dynasty. The West Tower is one of the Yanping Twin Towers built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, and it also stands on Jiufeng Mountain in good condition. The original buildings in Shanzhongping, such as Yanping Academy, Jianxi Caotang, Wanfu Qingshe and Tianqing Pavilion, were destroyed by the war.

From 65438 to 0978, Nanping Municipal Government decided to turn Jiufeng Mountain into a comprehensive park. It has invested millions of yuan, planted nearly 6.5438+million trees, built 13 pavilions and flower beds such as Fragrant Garden, Tianqing Pavilion, Cui Yun Pavilion, Lingyun Pavilion, Lengfeng Pavilion and Yudequan, and set up a zoo, children's playground, literature and history museum and tea room.

In order to facilitate tourists to enjoy the scenery in Jiufeng Mountain, 1984, a cable-stayed footbridge across the Minjiang River was built between Jiufeng Mountain and the urban area. The total length of the bridge is 325 meters, the main span is 200 meters, and the tower is 43.2 meters high. It is the first suspension bridge pier across the Minjiang River in our province and the longest cable-stayed bridge in China at that time.
