Debate: Hotels have no right to prohibit bringing their own drinks.

This behavior of merchants is illegal. Article 9 of the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests stipulates: "Consumers have the right to choose their own goods or receive services." When consumers enter the hotel for consumption, meals and drinks are two completely different consumption items. When consumers choose one for consumption, they have the right not to choose the other. Consumers choose to bring their own drinks, which is the right given by national laws. Individual hotels prohibit consumers from bringing their own drinks by means of notices, which obviously damages consumers' right to choose independently. At present, the price of drinks in hotels is generally at least 30% higher than that in the market. The hotel "refuses to bring its own drinks", the ultimate goal is to sell high-priced drinks to consumers, so as to obtain extraordinary profits.
