As he was walking, Xiaoyu suddenly saw a conspicuous white building at the foot of Snake Mountain. From a distance, he saw a seal on it, which was already in a "deserted" state. When I walked in, I found that it was the former site of Hubei Provincial Library.

this Hubei provincial library, founded in 194, was first founded by Zhang Zhidong, and it is one of the earliest library-specific buildings in China. The original library was not in this place, but moved here in 1934. As a result, the Anti-Japanese War broke out shortly after the library was completed, and Wuhan became the wartime capital, which also became the office of the Military Committee of the National Government. It was re-used as a library in 1946 until a new library was built in 212, which was "idle" for protection.

Today, the former site of the library is also a national key cultural relics protection unit. Knowing the historical origin behind it, it can be said that it is quite big!

Xiaoyu can't visit because of the seal, but from the appearance, the building is quite magnificent. The whole building is a combination of Chinese and western, and the main building is a Chinese-style hall with upturned cornices and antique appearance. At the same time, it has many western architectural features, such as exquisite relief and so on, which is quite fashionable.

In fact, there are two former residences of celebrities to the east from the old library site: Li Shucheng's former residence and Gao Yapeng's former residence. However, Xiaoyu didn't make a strategy beforehand, and he was in a hurry to go to the Yellow Crane Tower, so he missed it. There are too many scenic spots in Wuhan, and there is a feeling that there are treasures everywhere. If you come to visit, you can look for them one by one.

For foreign tourists, if they visit the Yellow Crane Tower, they can come out from the east gate of the scenic spot, and walk along Wuluo Road to the east, which is shouyi park. The former site of Hubei Provincial Library stands quietly among them, waiting for the next visitor to meet.
