Architectural Design of Kaohsiung 85 Building

The building has a special penetrating design. The left and right buildings are merged into a single tower above the 35th floor, reaching the spire of the 85th floor, leaving a hollow space below the central tower. The exterior of the building shows the name of the city "Gao" (Kaohsiung).

In addition, this building is the first skyscraper in Taiwan Province to introduce wind dampers. There are as many as 92 elevators and escalators in the building. The fastest elevator has a speed of 75 meters per minute and can rise 77 floors in 45 seconds, which is second only to the elevators in Taipei 11 and Yokohama landmark building, ranking third in the world.

The interior of the building is mainly the office owned by Dongdishi Group, in addition to the collective residence and Kaohsiung Jin Dian Hotel located on the 37th to 8th floors.
