Jinding Scenic Spot in Emei Mountain

Jinding, located at the second peak of Emei Mountain, is adjacent to Wanfo Peak, the highest peak of Emei Mountain. It is the most concentrated place of temples and scenic spots in Emei Mountain and the essence of Emei Mountain. Standing on the mountain, you can see the Chengdu Plain in the distance.

You can see Gongga Snow Mountain when the weather is fine.

Buddha light, sunrise, sea of clouds and holy light account for three of the four scenic spots in Emei. You can not only enjoy the sunrise in the sea of clouds, but also worship the ten-square Pu Xian icon, the highest golden Buddha in the world.

Close contact with monkeys

Located near "Yixiantian" under Hongchunping, on Yin Qing Pavilion, it is the largest natural wild monkey area in China at present. Take a sightseeing bus at Yamashita Sightseeing Center or Dong Leiping, get off at Wannian Temple and walk there. There is also a monkey area on the road from Dong Leiping to Jieyin Temple, but there are fewer monkeys, so you can't see it every time.

Tips:

Monkeys in Emei Mountain are not afraid of tourists. Watch out for monkeys. The food must be put in the bag, not exposed or held in your hand, or the monkey will come and grab it! Remember not to tease monkeys!

Natural ecological monkey area

Emei Mountain Ecological Monkey Area is located near "Yixiantian" under Hongchunping, on the Yin Qing Pavilion. It is the largest natural wild monkey area in China at present.

There are plank roads, pavilions and cable bridges in the monkey area, which are convenient for tourists to watch and tease monkeys. You can buy some monkey food in advance at the monkey food sales point in the mountain monkey area.

Most monkeys are not as friendly as they think. They will grab tourists' food or rummage through tourists' bags, so don't leave the plank road easily or enter the park with food in their hands.

Blessing Holy Land-Guobao Temple

Guobao Temple is the first temple in Emei Mountain, the seat of Emei Mountain Buddhist Association and the center of Emei Mountain Buddhist activities. The whole temple is a typical quadrangle building, covering an area of more than 60 mu, with one courtyard and one scene, which is in-depth layer by layer. Many people come here to pray every year.

Emeishan-Guobao Temple

Located at the foot of Mount Emei, Guobao Temple is the gateway to the mountain and the starting point for visiting Mount Emei. It is also the largest temple in Emei Mountain and the center of Buddhist activities in Emei Mountain.

The buildings in the temple are simple and elegant, surrounded by green forests, and the three characters of "Guobao Temple" inscribed by Emperor Kangxi are hung at the mountain gate. You can also enjoy the only cultural landscape in Emei's ten scenic spots, the "Holy Night Bell".

There is also the Emei Mountain Cultural Relics Management Office in the temple, which collects all kinds of ceramic jade, literature calligraphy and painting, metal utensils and weapons and artifacts unearthed during the Warring States Period.

Although the temple is located at the foot of the scenic spot where tourists are weaving, the incense in the temple is strong and the rare commercial atmosphere is very weak. Devoted believers must come here to pay homage.

Buddhist Temple Garden-Yin Qing Pavilion

Yin Qing Pavilion, located at the foot of Niuxinling, with an altitude of 7 10 meters, is one of the eight temples in Emei Mountain, with Hongchunping and Xianfeng Temple on the left and Bailong Cave and Wannian Temple on the right, which is the only place for pilgrimage and sightseeing. There is only one hall in Yin Qing Pavilion, and there is a "lookout pavilion" in front of it. Yin Qing Pavilion is small, but the terrain is dangerous, commanding, magnificent, surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful scenery. It is a model of Buddhist temple garden architecture in China, and it is as famous as Shuangqiao Yin Qing, one of the ten scenic spots in Emei Mountain.

Emeishan-Yin Qing Pavilion

Leshan Giant Buddha

Fengyun Ancient Street-Jiading Fang

Jiading Fang, located outside the Giant Buddha, is an ancient street with the historical and cultural charm of "ancient history". Its night view is very beautiful, integrating tourism, shopping, leisure and entertainment, local snacks, handicrafts and local products exhibition.

Emeishan route recommendation

There are five stops in Emei Mountain: Guobao Temple-Wuxiangang-Wannian Temple-Zero Kilometers-Dongleiping. If you want to see a monkey for the first time, get off at Wuxiangang and walk up. Those who want to go directly to Jinding will sit down at Dong Leiping, and then choose the cableway or walk to Jinding. You can also drive into the scenic spot, driving up to zero kilometers, but each parking lot has to collect money. The higher the parking lot, the more expensive it is.
