Hohhot or Baotou, which economy is better?

Needless to say, Baotou is definitely stronger, which is universally acknowledged. Baotou is a national regional central city, an economic center, an industrial center and a demonstration center of scientific and technological innovation in Inner Mongolia, a leading core city of the Hubao-Hubei urban agglomeration, and a strong second-tier economic city. Even people in other provinces and cities know that as for Hohhot, my friends and I have never heard of this city, and even people in some South China provinces mistakenly think that Baotou is the capital city of Inner Mongolia. Therefore, in terms of reputation, Baotou basically represents the highest level of economic development in Inner Mongolia and is the largest landmark city in Inner Mongolia. Although I am not from Baotou, as far as I know, Baotou should be a comprehensive city with heavy industry as the mainstay. The pillar industries are mainly concentrated in the fields of rare earth, steel, aluminum, new materials, military industry, equipment manufacturing, heavy truck, coal and building materials. In addition, other industries in Baotou, such as textile, beer brewing, biopharmaceuticals, new energy, software outsourcing and cloud computing, are also good. Baotou has a large urban area, mainly Qingshan District, Donghe District, Kunming District, Jiuyuan District and High-tech Zone. The transportation is developed and the bus system is perfect. In addition, the subway, light rail and BRT bus rapid transit system are also under construction. The EMU around Hubao and Hubei has been opened, and the Beijing-Baotou high-speed railway and Baohai have been opened. As for Hohhot, which is only the administrative center, cultural and financial center of Inner Mongolia, its performance in many aspects is not very satisfactory, and the bureaucratic atmosphere is serious. As a local provincial capital, its role in promoting external radiation is very small, and it has not played its due obligations and responsibilities as a provincial capital. Hohhot ranks third from the bottom in the country in terms of parity. (Parity refers to the degree to which provincial capital cities are second to none in local areas)
