Is Thailand suitable for families to travel?
My parents raised me with all their efforts, and my whole 19-year study career worried my parents a lot. From June 2065438 to June 2007, I took my parents out for a trip during the last summer vacation. I planned to go to Tibet several years ago. I considered going to Hong Kong in May and finally decided to go to Thailand.
The whole trip was arranged for 8 days, starting from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport on the evening of June 20th 12: 50, and returning home from Bangkok Don Mueang Airport at 6 am on June 20th. We first arrived in Phuket, stayed there for four days, then flew to Bangkok, and then stayed in Bangkok for four days.
It's two o'clock in the morning in Phuket. After the arrival visa, it is 4 am to take the bus to the hotel. After check-in, everyone will go back to the hotel to rest and sleep until they wake up naturally. It's past 9 o'clock when I woke up, and my father called to say that my stomach was growling. Get up and wash, go out nearly 10, and go directly to restaurant 6, which received rave reviews. After dinner, we went directly to Jiangxi Cold Department Store, and we strolled for nearly an hour with exquisite goods. It rained heavily after the photo shoot. I sat in the round chair in front of the mall, waiting for the rain to stop and taking pictures.
After the rain stopped, I bought some mangoes on my way back to the hotel, and then rested at the hotel until 4 pm. First, listen to your classmates introduce a chin to Dongtan.
Seafood is good. I followed Google Maps and found this seafood stall in an alley. Indeed, their curry crab, lobster and mango glutinous rice really surprised everyone. I ate seafood from various families in the next few days and always liked the first day.
Seafood is full of praise (PS: it may be the first time to taste it, so I remember).
After eating and drinking enough, cross the bar street, which is Badong Beach shrouded by the sunset. It's so beautiful that people want to cry.
Mom and dad are running on the beach to take pictures, and they all smell of happiness. Dragging umbrellas and motorboats look exciting, and dad is eager to try. Finally, he gave up the idea of challenge because he was a little timid.
Near six o'clock, we went along the beach to see Simon's shemale performance. Bars, massages and seafood stalls are the most common on the roadside, and 7-Eleven and FamilyMart convenience stores can also be seen everywhere. Thailand is indeed a smiling country. Everyone you meet is smiling and hands folded. "Sawadika" sounds very comfortable. This is especially true for shop assistants who solicit business at the door. Whether you enter the store or not, they are treated with courtesy. Some people can also say a few simple Chinese words, such as "Hello", "Eat" and "Goodbye". Every short sentence makes people feel kind.
At 7: 30, we entered the stadium on time to watch the shemale show. The five of us sat in the middle of the first row, and we could clearly see everyone's expression. Although all the songs are lip-synching, we have to say that they are particularly involved. Performing three performances in a row every night, each for more than an hour, requires dedication. No matter what the reason, let them choose to be a shemale, as the object of attention, looking at the smile on their faces, there is a sense of sadness in their hearts.
After watching the performance, we were so sleepy that our legs hurt and our feet hurt. We don't want to go any more. We took a sudden bus and arrived at the hotel soon. The first day of the trip is over.
I'm sorry we came at a bad time. In mid-May, Similan Island was closed to the outside world. Helpless, we choose Emperor Island as a substitute; I booked a one-day tour of Huangdi Island in the travel agency, and I can wait for reception at the hotel at eight in the morning. Don't be lazy at any time, thinking about the next day's trip, don't worry about the trip at all, so don't pay much attention to diet and prepare breakfast in advance. I thought there would be breakfast waiting at the dock, but only drinking water and two boxes of biscuits were provided. Young people are more casual and can eat or not. However, my father is with me. I can see that my father is hungry. Looking around, there is a western restaurant. I don't know when the ship will come, but I'm afraid it's too late to eat western food. I consulted the tour guide. It took me several turns to find a convenience store. I bought bread and sandwiches, and I was in a good mood in an instant.
Near nine o'clock, everyone put on swimsuits, coated with a thick layer of sunscreen, wrapped in sunscreen clothes and sunglasses, and followed the tour guide to the bus stop. When I saw the queen holding slippers in her hand, I was a little lost, but everything was fine except that it was smaller than I expected. On the way to Coral Island, my father and I had a plywood fishing trip. No fish took the bait, but there was a lot of sweat under the scorching sun.
I thought I could swim, but when I went to the seaside, I found that this was not the case. The result of copying breaststroke in the swimming pool is drinking water, and my father laughed at me all the way. Then I went to Emperor Island, my father went deep diving, and my mother and I went to the soft white beach.
My mother, who can't swim at all, stepped on the soft beach and couldn't help walking into the sea, flapping her feet with the waves. They are skipping and sitting on the beach, taking photos at will. Every photo is full of smiles, which I have never seen before. At home, mothers who are a little shy in shorts can completely release themselves here, wear bikinis, show their legs, have no scruples and have fun.
Phuket is an island, and the clean seawater here is relatively unique. On this day, we went to PP Island, where most tourists would go. The world is sometimes small. While waiting for the speedboat at the dock, we unexpectedly met the couple who were on the same boat the day before. Fate is really amazing.
I chose a one-day tour, so the whole day trip was led by a tour guide. This tour guide is a Thai, with a squat back and a wide body.
However, he only asks everyone to call him "beauty", and he is quite nice. There are also five Indians with him. Every introduction of the tour guide will be in English and Thai to ensure that every tourist can understand it.
The speedboat first docked at Maya Bay surrounded by mountains on three sides. The seawater, coconut trees and beaches here create a tropical island atmosphere. It is said that the "beach" used to take pictures here. The first thing you do when you get off the boat is to take pictures, step on the sea, sit on the rocks, lie on the beach, stretch your feet, reach out and hold the mountain, shout slogans, jump with cameras, be photographed, all kinds of people, all kinds of postures.
Then I went to see the Bird's Nest Cave and Monkey Island. According to the tour guide, there are many monkeys on the island, hence the name Monkey Island. Needless to say, there are indeed many monkeys, large and small, crawling from east to west and jumping from top to bottom, which are extremely cute. The speedboat docked at the edge of the island. With the ups and downs of the waves, the fish in the blue sea are swimming and squeaking, and the monkeys on the island are in groups of three or five, which is really interesting.
Later, I experienced snorkeling and diving not far away. For the first time in my life, I stood by the boat, held my nose, closed my eyes, jumped into the deep sea with fear and courage, sank into the sea and slowly floated up. In those few seconds, I really felt that I had defeated myself. I have an indescribable excitement and many extravagant hopes. It's great to be able to move freely at sea without floating boards and lifebuoys.
It's hard to understand without personal experience. It is said that the sea is very dangerous, the weather is changing rapidly and unpredictable, and I feel it all this day. When we set out, the sun was scorching and the sky was transparent, and there was no cloud at all. After about 40 minutes, we saw that the dark clouds were not far away and could not be bypassed. We had to slow down and enter the rain area, and we obviously felt the hull bumping. The tour guide gave everyone raincoats, which was almost useless. It doesn't feel like sitting on a boat. Looking at other ships, it seems that they may be overturned by the waves at any time, and their minds are full of debris from the Titanic. Maybe this is normal for tour guides, sailors and captains, but for us, it is inevitable to be nervous. After all, the news of travel distress is everywhere. The depth of the sea is both desirable and frightening.
On my last day in Phuket, I will leave for Bangkok in the afternoon. In order not to waste time in the morning, we rode an elephant near Leshan Giant Buddha, then experienced an ATV off-road vehicle, and then went to see a monkey show. I don't know why. I'm not very happy, but a little depressed. The docile and honest elephant is trained to be obedient, carrying tourists every day, staggering from the mountainside to the top of the mountain, and then returning the same way. I don't know how many times it will be repeated. Those local people are standing on their noses, sitting on their heads and conducting with sticks. Perhaps for elephants, there is no need to forage around and worry about the attack of natural enemies, but our so-called freedom may never be realized in their lives, even their children. The monkey seen in the back is the same. Whether they are 2 or 7 years old, their cleverness is regarded as a tool to make money. The chains around their necks have been strangled. After a few steps, they were dragged back. Monkeys can shoot, kick, count, salute and help local people pick coconuts. I don't know if they have been trained in violence, but seeing local people pulling them like inanimate objects, it is certain that they have suffered a lot. Every time he was dragged, the monkey did not show his ferocious face, but habitually walked back with his head down. Quietly ask yourself, when is the monkey's head?
Depart from Phuket Airport at 5: 00 pm, go to Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok, and book a B&B on Airbnb in advance. Experience is good, there is a driver to pick up and drop off, Loft hotel-style apartment, clean and tidy, small and fresh style, the key is the excellent geographical location, and it is Siam when you go out.
Discovery Center, Siam Center, MBK and other business districts.
For me who love shopping, this position is great.
Bangkok and Phuket are completely different. After all, it is the capital, and you can smell the city everywhere. The elders don't have much preference for shopping. I heard that there is an underwater world, and everyone wants to see it in unison. On the whole, it's not bad. Whether it is layout design, plate division or biological species, we are not disappointed. We saw many creatures on the sea floor that we had never seen before, and everyone returned home with a full load.
It's almost one o'clock noon after the visit. Hungry, we still wanted to eat mango glutinous rice, so we found a restaurant with high scores. After ordering, each staple food is served with mango glutinous rice, which is really delicious and wasteful. I didn't eat enough the other day, so I've had enough for this meal. I guess the waiters were all scared by us. All the other guests were at the same table, and we all served one. After dinner, go to the king.
Power bought some cosmetics, even if it ended the day's trip.
Coming to Thailand without going to the Grand Palace is just like coming to Beijing without going to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. Before mentioning the Grand Palace, I have to praise the public transportation in Thailand. It is said that the traffic jam in Bangkok is serious, and the rush hour is really scary. Just choose the bus when you travel at the wrong peak. Seeing an old red bus coming slowly, the car number happened to be the one we were waiting for. Five people got on the bus and sat down nearby. Looking around, a few people are sparse, with old bodies, no air conditioning, no flight attendants, no coin slots and no credit card machines. We were very surprised. Don't we have to pay? Ask the aunt in front to know that this is a free bus. Every window along the way is a landscape, until we get off the bus, our heads always face out of the window and sigh from time to time.
At that time, Thailand was still in a period of national mourning, with black and white gauze hanging everywhere, and photos of the king's memory could be seen everywhere. When entering the Grand Palace, I solemnly saw many ordinary people, including old people, children and students, dressed in black and queuing up to worship.
The beginning of the day is cool, and the middle of the day is like exploring soup. Buying tickets, queuing, visiting, taking photos, it was just noon when I came out, and umbrellas, sunscreen and scarves were useless. Sweating like rain, I feel difficult to breathe. I was going to the Jade Buddha Temple, but I really couldn't stand the surface temperature. I temporarily decided to go to the mountain road for dinner and sightseeing.
The buildings here are old, but lively, and there are many backpackers in Europe and America. The bars are next to each other, and there are small shops selling long skirts and shorts everywhere. From time to time, you can see roadside stalls filled with Thai snacks. To my regret, there is an aunt who braids people by the roadside. I asked my aunt to get one for me when I wanted to go back, but I didn't do it because it was too late. It is said that massage in Thailand is very good, so you must experience it. I chose a shop with elegant environment, high price and overall service to Nice.
I feel comfortable all over, and it's time to eat again. Dad has been talking about the grilled fish in a certain store. After the massage, he went out to that shop. The waitress in the restaurant was impressed. She is a girl who loves to laugh. Her face was full of smiles when she served us food. She taught me to say pineapple in Thai, and I taught her Chinese. After chatting with her, the next guy who catches the eye first is the handsome guy diagonally across the street. I admit, I did see many eyes and photographed many people.
After eating and visiting, the mountain road turned into a night market. After eating and drinking enough, we followed Google Maps to find the bus stop, took the red free bus again, blew the night breeze, watched the night scene and went home to sleep.
After a few days of tossing, everyone was tired of laughing. It was originally planned to go to Ampawa floating market and attack the railway market in the United States on the last day. I lost my motivation when I heard that it would take several hours to drive. Let it be a yearning and regret, and a desire to go to Bangkok again. Choose to go to the nearby Chao Phraya River and feel water bus. Buy a pass, sit from the finish line to the starting point, and then sit from the starting point to the finish line. In order to commemorate the Durian Festival, shelves, billboards, staff and all kinds of harmony that are being prepared in the mall before going out.
Arrive in Chinatown on the way, and then go to Chao phraya River. There are all kinds of Chinese signs in Chinatown, most of which are gold shops. Just walk into a shop, and the gold ornaments in the counter are like selling cabbage. It's all piled up there, hanging on the wall, without gaps. What's special is that the waiters here can basically speak Chinese, and they speak it fluently, which sounds a little Hong Kong.
Chinatown is not very long, it is estimated to be less than two kilometers. In the middle, we inserted a path and turned to Chao Phraya River. On the road, I saw a lot of crowded wholesale alleys, all kinds of goods, exquisite everywhere, especially emphasizing that I love the earrings inside.
After a stop-and-go, I finally found the pier. There are different types of water bus, which is subject to the color of the bow flag. In order to save worry, I bought a pass directly. On the boat, the scenery on both sides is different. There are magnificent palace buildings and crumbling residential buildings.
I wasn't very tired when I got off the boat at the dock, so I'm going to walk in the street and feel their living atmosphere. Surrounded by an alley, mostly residential buildings, interspersed with bars and restaurants. Occasionally I can see graffiti on the wall. Every shot is a landscape. Personally, I like this regular tone.
Finally, a beer bottle in front of the bar marks the end of all our trips in Bangkok.
At about five or six o'clock in the morning, we quietly left Bangkok and boarded the plane back home with laughter, fatigue, satisfaction and regret. About eight days, with my poor spoken English, I took my parents to Phuket and Bangkok. I am nervous, worried, uneasy and excited, and all kinds of emotions are transformed into sureness, excitement and emotion at the moment we step into the return cabin. I am happy when they are happy. This is the first time I've tried to devote myself wholeheartedly. Maybe it's time to grow up.
