Liugong Island one-day tour guide

Liugong Island is an island, but it is still very beautiful. There are red tourist attractions inside, which are worth seeing. There are also submarines and ropeways to experience. There are still many projects, so you can play with confidence.

Because I am from Weihai, this is my second time to Liugong Island. The first time I was very anxious, but I was not happy. Besides, I am not familiar with Liugong Island. Many routes went wrong, and I didn’t know much about the various offers. This time, things are looking up. After my last experience, I had a good time.

Taking a boat

First of all, where to take a boat? Maybe those who have been to Liugong Island before know that the pier is a little south of the harbor, but last year the Liugong Island Passenger Transport Center moved to the northeast of No. 2 Middle School, where you have to take a boat. You can take bus No. 32 at Hualian Station in the city center and get off at the terminal station.

Current Location Let’s talk about tickets. The ticket price is still 138 yuan/person. 138 yuan includes boat tickets and tickets to all island attractions. The price is not expensive either.

It takes about 15 minutes to reach Liugong Island by boat.

Tickets

As soon as I walked out of the waiting hall on the island, I saw a row of sightseeing buses waiting there. This sightseeing bus has two routes. One is a small roundabout, the ticket is 20 yuan/person. After starting from the dock, drive east along Ding Highway. The parking stop is the pier of the Liugong Island National Forest Park (Zoo) submarine attraction (or the Chinese Anti-Japanese War Museum Exhibition Hall and Ropeway Station). This other one is a large roundabout, which basically allows you to go around the entire island, and when you get off the bus to visit, the driver will be waiting for you. This kind of price is relatively expensive, and the price varies in different seasons, generally ranging from 600-800 yuan.

Sightseeing bus

Because we arrived early and the weather was not too hot, we chose to walk to the exhibition hall, which took about 5 minutes. Take the pass purchased outside the island and check it with the ticket inspector, and then we can enter. There are some historical relics of the Sino-Japanese War, and there is a big screen inside. If you're lucky, you can catch a movie about the Sino-Japanese War of 1888-1894.

Sino-Japanese War Museum Exhibition Hall

After visiting the exhibition hall, go out through the back door. Across the road is the cableway station and the Expo Park. It was already half past nine, and my friend told me to go to the World Expo. I quickly told them my last blood and tears lesson. Last time I went to the Expo Park first, and it was almost 11 o'clock when I came out. Then we went to the ropeway station. The hall was full of people waiting for the ropeway. It was estimated that there were more than 100 people. Later, the staff told me that it is best not to take the ropeway at noon because there are too many people. On the contrary, there are fewer people before 10 o'clock and after 1:30, so you can take the ropeway directly without queuing.

So a few of us went to take the ropeway first without having to queue. After going up, we went to the Qidingshan Fort to take some photos, and then we took the ropeway back down. When I came down, I found that the ropeway hall was overcrowded, and my friends praised me for my foresight.

I forgot, the round-trip price for the ropeway ticket is 60 yuan/person, and a hole will be punched in the ticket when you get on and off. After getting off the bus, be sure not to throw away the ropeway ticket. If you keep it, you can visit the submarine for free.

Liugong Island Cableway Station

In this way, we went straight to the Expo Park as soon as we left the cableway station. There is a Sperm Whale Pavilion in the Expo, which contains the world's largest sperm whale specimen. Still worth seeing. After more than half an hour of visiting, it was already past 11 o'clock, and everyone was a little hungry. Just when we saw the exit of the Expo Park, there were many sightseeing buses parked here. We asked the driver and he was very enthusiastic. He not only told us the route of the tour bus, but also enthusiastically introduced the nearby Liugong Island hotel. It was very close and did not require us to walk a lot. This is exactly what we need.

Liugong Island Expo Park

The three of us ordered four dishes, two seafood and two home-cooked dishes. The food tastes good and the portions are generous. In the end, we settled the bill for more than 100 and less than 200, which was not expensive.

After resting for a while, we got on the tour bus directly, not wanting to be exposed to the sun.

The first stop at your current location is the zoo. We plan to see giant pandas. When you see giant pandas up close, they are furry, move slowly, barely move, and look particularly docile. There are rumors on the Internet that pandas are extremely fast and lethal animals. Sure enough, not all that glitters is gold.

After seeing pandas, we saw sika deer and goats with long manes. There were very few animals in the zoo, so we walked to the zoo, which is the Beiyang Navy Loyal Soul Monument.

Because of the hot weather, we didn't go up.

Liugong Island Hotel

Come back and get the tickets to the next stop, the underwater scenic spot. There are still many people in the underwater scenic spot because there are many discounts here. In addition to holding a round-trip ropeway ticket, you can visit it for free. I just heard on the bus that tourists who come to the submarine by tour bus can visit it at half price, which is 10 yuan per person.

Although there were many people, we decided to wait in line because we could go down to the submarine cabin and see its internal structure up close, which was still very attractive to us. After all, no one has ever been in a submarine.

When we actually got off the cabin, we were not used to it because the cabin door was not big and could only accommodate one entrance and exit. After we got off the front, we walked straight forward along the passage in the cabin. The cabin was very narrow because there were people in the front and back, so we couldn't go back. Finally, we came out through the rear cabin door.

It is worth mentioning that while waiting in line, we found a QR code outside the ticket booth, which is the official WeChat account of Liugong Island Tourism Service. After I added it, I found that it was full of information about Liugong Island tourism, and it was very comprehensive. Even those who have never been to Liugong Island can get a comprehensive understanding of some tourist projects and discount information through this website, which is very practical for tourists.

010 to 1010, there is still one last stop. We chose to get off at the China Sino-Japanese War Museum, which is the former CCBA. The building inside is a 100-year-old three-court building, but some parts have been transformed into a British architectural style. Each room has been restored to a large extent to its original appearance. There is a wax figure scene in the second courtyard, which is very realistic.

If you want to go faster in one day, you can go to all these attractions, so if you are not in a hurry, you can visit it in two days, and if you are in a hurry, you can experience it in one day.
