The School of Tourism and Hotel Management of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics was established in 1995. It is located in the beautiful coastal city of Dalian and belongs to Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. After 10 years of rapid development, the School of Tourism and Hotel Management of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics has made remarkable achievements in discipline construction. So far, she is a college with more than 500 students at three levels: undergraduate, master and doctor. Especially after being awarded the right of doctoral degree in 2000, the status of the college in the national tourism colleges has been rapidly improved, its social influence has been increasingly extensive, and the space for serving the society has been greatly expanded. Since 200 1, the college has cooperated with the School of Service Management of the University of Surrey, a world-famous British tourism institution, so that undergraduates have a convenient channel to study for master's degrees abroad.

Dongbei University of Finance and Economics School of Tourism and Hotel Management has 25 teachers. Among them, there are 8 professors (including 4 external professors), 9 associate professors, 7 lecturers and teaching assistants 1 person. (1) external doctoral supervisor

Song Haiyan, a professor, studied in the UK and received his doctorate from Glasgow University (1992). He is currently the vice president and chief professor of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the tourism project coordinator of the School of Service Management of the University of Surrey. Research interests: tourism economics, tourism demand and forecast, evaluation of tourism impact effect, research methods of tourism quantity, and China's transitional economy.

Wang Rongpei, Professor, former Dean of Dalian International Studies University. The main research direction is tourism and cultural issues.

(2) External tutors for master students.

Liu Zhenwan, professor, is currently the director of Dalian Tourism Bureau. The main research direction is tourism marketing.

Lu Changchong, a professor, studied in the United States, Belgium and Singapore, and is currently the Dean of the School of Business Administration of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. Research direction: tourism experience research, mainly guiding doctoral students majoring in tourism management. Relying on the strong background of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in management and economy, academic research is carried out in the fields of tourism enterprise management (especially hotel management), tourism marketing, tourism economic theory, tourism basic theory, the relationship between tourism development and economic development, the regional impact of tourism development, the sustainable development of tourism, and the theory and practice of regional tourism development planning.
