Brief introduction of National Donghua University

National Donghua University is a national university located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, and the first comprehensive university in eastern Taiwan Province Province. Founded in 1994, it covers an area of 256 hectares (excluding College of Marine Biotechnology). Known as "the highest institution of learning in the East" in Taiwan Province Province and "the back garden of Taiwan Province Province". In 2008, it merged with the National Hualien University of Education. The name of the new school is still "National Donghua University" and the "Flower Teacher Education College" was established. Donghua is now the academic research, industrial development and Internet center of Dongtai Bay Province, belonging to the Pan-Pacific University Alliance and a member of EUTW. At present, there are five colleges, including School of Management, Institute of Technology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and School of Indigenous Peoples and Marine Sciences, including 12 doctoral programs, 24 master programs, 22 bachelor programs and 7 master's in-service training programs. In 20/0/4, Kloc was rated as a four-star "China High-level University" by the website of China Alumni Association.
