Where is Chagan Lake?

The geographical location of Chagan Lake is 124 03'- 124 34' and 45 09'-45 30' north latitude. Located in the northwest of Jilin Province, at the end of Huolin River in the Golden Triangle of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province, it is also the intersection of Songhua River, the southern source of Songhua River and Nenjiang River, and the intersection of Northeast Plain and Nenjiang River.

Chagan Lake is shaped like a pig's belly. The lake is long and narrow, extending from southeast to northwest. The main body is in Guo Qian County, bordering Gan 'an County in the west, Da 'an City in the north, Tumen-Wulanhaote Highway and Changbai Railway in the east. East, south and north are surrounded by Mongolian Tun, Balang and Changshan towns in Guo Qian County, bordering Gan 'an County in the southwest and Da 'an City in the northwest.

Chagan Lake is 45km from Songyuan City, Changchun 193km in the south and 265km from Harbin in the north. Changbai Railway, National Highway 203, Tuwu Highway, Daguang expressway and many other national and provincial trunk lines run through the whole territory, and tourist highways are interspersed among them, so the traffic is very convenient, and communication and postal services are convenient and fast.

Chagan Lake has beautiful environment, charming scenery and rich resources. Carp, silver carp and bighead carp are abundant here. It can produce 6000 tons of fresh fish and 50000 tons of reeds every year.
