International standards for hotel toilets

Barrier-free facilities and design requirements for public toilets * * * The design of facilities categories shall comply with the relevant provisions in Section 1 of Chapter VII of this specification. Door and window sashes shall comply with the relevant provisions in Section 4 of Chapter 7 of this specification. The tunnel floor shall be non-slip and waterless, and the width shall not be less than 1 .50m. The washbasin1shall be provided with safety handrails 50mm away from both sides and front edge of the washbasin. 2 There should be 1. 10m×0.80m in front of the washbasin for wheelchair users. Safety handrails with a width of 0.60~0.70m and a height of 1.20 m should be set on both sides and above the urinal in the men's toilet (Figure 7.8. 1- 1). 2 The lower opening of urinal should not be more than 0.50m from the ground (Figure 7.8. 1-2). Accessible toilets 1 Men's and women's toilets should be equipped with accessible toilet seats. 2 The area of the newly-built barrier-free toilet seat should not be less than 1.80m× 1.40m (Figure 7.8. 1-3). 3 The area of the reconstructed barrier-free toilet seat should not be less than 2.00m× 1.00m (Figure 7.8. 1-4). 4 After the door leaf of the toilet seat is opened outward, the net width of the entrance should not be less than 0.80m, and there should be a handle inside when the door leaf is closed. 5 The toilet is 0.45m high, with horizontal handrails of 0.70m high on both sides and vertical handrails of 1.40m high on one wall (Figure 7.8. 1-5). The safety handrail shall comply with the relevant provisions in Article 7.8. 1 of this specification. 7.8.3 The barrier-free facilities and design requirements of public toilets shall comply with the provisions in Table 7.8.3 (Figure 7.8.3- 1, Figure 7.8.3-2). The design requirements of barrier-free facilities and public toilets shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 7, Section 65433 of this specification. The tunnel floor shall be non-slip and waterless, and the width shall not be less than 1 .50m. The door and window sash1shall comply with the provisions in Section 4 of Chapter 7 of this specification. 2 Barrier-free toilets should use door locks that can be opened in an emergency outside the door. Barrier-free shower room 1 shower room should not be less than 3.50㎡ (the door opens outwards). 2 The shower room should be equipped with a bath chair with a height of 0.45m. 3 The clear width of the short side of the bathroom should not be less than 1.50m 4 The shower room should be equipped with a horizontal handrail with a height of 0.70m and a vertical handrail with a height of 1 .40m. The barrier-free bathroom1bathroom should not be less than 4.50 m2 (the door leaves should be opened outwards). 2 One end of the bathtub should be provided with a bath seat with a depth of not less than 0.40m, and one side of the bathtub should be provided with a washbasin. Three horizontal handrails with heights of 0.60m and 0.90m should be set in the bathtub, and the length of the horizontal handrails should be greater than or equal to 0.80m. 4 The clear width of the short side of the bathroom should not be less than 2.00m. SOS button should be set at the height of 0.40 ~ 0.50m between the barrier-free bathtub and the ground. Safety handrails shall comply with the relevant provisions in Article 7.8. 1 of this specification.
